Okay y'all, I tried to use vellum again and I'm not a fan. I wanted to print on it, but it kept smearing in my laser printer. What am I doing wrong? So, I decided to use it just plain and adhere the candles and foiled title on it.

Oh drat for misbehaving vellum. I've only tried printing on it with ink jet and that did NOT go well! :giggle I love how this turned out even if it what you started out trying for! Love the fun embossed candles! How'd ya do that?

It all depends on what type of vellum it is! Some will print fine and some will make a big mess. And for some it will print fine on one of the sides and not so good on the other side. I say it’s a trial and error thing with vellum!

This was a die cut. I took the easy way out since I'm still learning embossing :P

Which one have you printed on with success? I'm trying so hard to do this because I love vellum for softening busy backgrounds. Help!

The one I have had best success with is from a Scandinavian hobby store. It’s hard even finding vellum for printing and it’s frustrating when the one you find don’t work!
