birthday cake

These look so good! Do you need a special cake pop pan or machine to make them? I'm not up on the cake pop world. I hope you enjoyed them. They are so pretty you could sell them!

while they DO make special pans and even small appliances dedicated to cake pops, I didn't use one. I put a super QUICK how-to up on my blog here: http://mystateofcrazy.blogspot.com/2012/03/birthday-cake.html the steps are simple... just a little more time consuming than a standard cake.

They look sooo very yummy! My sister in-law makes cakes and she makes these once in a while and they are VERRRY yummy!

yes renee, i DID make my own cake :giggle but honestly, who else is gonna make it? hubby works all the time, and i'm not sure the kids are such great candidates quite yet. no one else lives near us. hubby did help though. we did the cake part together at like 9:00 the night before my bday, then i iced them the day of.
