Okay, so last week I had the stomach flu and this week I've gotten a good old-fashioned cold! Geez! Sick of being sick but I've managed to make it to work everyday, scrap some pages, do the housework, etc....

NOW, DH has it and boy, he's such a freakin' Big A$% Baby! You'd think the world was coming to an end with the moans, groans, and 'I'm so sick, I can't do ANYTHING'! Really?!?!?! One day of this and I'm about to throw his butt out the door!
 
ugh..yeah Garret is like this too! I get migraines like all the time and if he just has a headache he acts like the world is coming to an end. I hope he gets better soon partially just for your sake LOL!
 
Oh my word I feel your pain. My dh is the SAME WAY. I get sick and its business as usual. He gets the same thing I had, and his world comes to a halt while he spends a week in bed whimpering. Give me a damn break.

I was sick once while he was out of town. I managed to get the kids fed/off to school/etc every day for a week until he got back. He took one look at me and drove me immediately to urgent care. I had H1N1, bronchitis and pnuemonia. And I was out cleaning up the yard when he got home.

So I just fed him breakfast and he sat there telling me all his aches and pains and says "I sure hope you don't get this S*%^!" Ha! I just thought to myself.....I hope I gave it to you! <insert sarcastic smile> Okay, I'm not really THAT cold-hearted but it's like every 3 minutes of him telling me how awful he feels. And its Saturday so I don't have the excuse that I gotta go to work.

Lord...help me from choking him to death today! :helpy
 
Ugh! I know exactly how you feel! Thankfully my hubby isn't like that.. I swear! I think I'm worse! lol! BUT, my Dad... ugh! He's worse than my kids when he's sick. I told him we weren't going to Science North today because Caleb still had a fever last night and I did't want him exhausting himself so we're going tomorrow instead... He told me he would probably be okay, he's a kid. I got kind of mad because if he were sick it would be then end of the world and there was no way that he would be going.. .anyhow.. lol!
 
I so hear you Mel! My hubby acts like the world is ending when he is sick. As a mom I feel I have to suck it up and move on, but obviously he doesn't see it that way!
 
Man Flu. Mine isn't able to do much of anything when he's sick, which thankfully is very rarely. Like if he comes down with a case of life threatening sniffles, he needs to be in bed and is unable to function. Sniffles can be quite debilitating ya know.
 
My hubby is the same way and I have NO sympathy for him ever. :)
