Call the Midwife

The hubby and I are working through the seasons now. I am not sure there is an episode that has NOT made me cry. We tend to watch one or two shows a week. So it will be some time before we make it through all the seasons.

I love T.V. There is no way I could pick just one show as #1. But I do enjoy reading peoples responses....so keep them coming! Eventually I'll need a new show to watch.

There are so many that I loved over the years, but the only one lately that I have really watched over and over is The Office. I do love Supernatural and have watched it more than once all the way through. Right now I'm on my second watch of Lucifer. I have to throw in I Love Lucy...I used to watch those reruns over and over and over.

So I'm totally fickle, whatever I'm currently watching is the best of all time ... so I can't answer as it changes constantly lol

Better Call Saul is even better?????

Yeah, it really is. In Breaking Bad, Saul Goodman is basically comic relief. In Better Call Saul, Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill is a complex, though deeply flawed, anti-hero. And also: Carol Burnett!

Oooo - the original Star Trek. It was ground breaking! But this gal is a Generations fan...and I've watched all 7 seasons at least 3X. Ha!

me too!! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched TNG ALL the way thru!

I’ll go with The Office since it’s the first one that came to mind.

Another vote for Better Call Saul. When I first heard of it, I was a bit sceptical (oh no! not a prequel...), but imo it is even better than Breaking Bad.

I also love Endeavour (another prequel which outshines its original, Inspector Morse).

@dawnmarch There's a new Vince Gilligan series in the works, starring Rhea Seehorn!
Awesome! She is so good!

I’m going with three. The West Wing is my number one absolutely. The next two are Avatar: The Last Airbender and Star Trek DS9. I love the original Star Trek and TNG but my fav is DS9.

well, I really loved Breaking Bad, but I must say that one TV series that I loved even more is The Sopranos... and recently American mob drama “The Sopranos” has been labelled the greatest television show of all time by Rolling Stone magazine, and I quote this from internet!!

Shows I didn't see listed that are among my favorites, are Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Arrested Development.

OMG Only Murders!! That show was fantasitc!

I also love Call the Midwife and Only Murders in the Building. In the past I rarely watched tv, but now with being able to stream shows on my iPad at my convenience I've fallen down a rabbit hole.

Wow! Breaking Bad kept me on the edge of my seat. Better Call Saul is even better?????

Second this! Gotta convince hubby we need to give it a try.

Breaking Bad is on my top list along with How To Get Away With Murder, X-files, True Detective, The Americans, Designated Survivor, Lost, Walking Dead, Sopranos ... gee ... I do love TV!

Hmmm... Well, I think almost every show I've watched has that point where I go - eh, skip this episode/season. :giggle
I loved Pushing Daisies. And Dead Like Me. And The Good Place. Apparently I enjoy morbid humor. And female leads?

Simpsons is our most quoted around here, but it's not 'the best tv series'. Too many :disagree episodes.

Every show, whether you agree with what they're saying or not, has been done with such good taste and graciousness. The best thing is that the writer says there's no plans to stop the show, simply because there is so much that happened every year to keep the series going for as long as they want. I like that!
