okay, maybe it's not the bank... maybe it was me. but i'm still frustrated!!
DH and I have a joint account, but for some REALLY STUPID reason, they gave us separate usernames and passwords to the same account. This, at first, makes sense, but when you consider that biller info is only set up under one login, but is completely non-existent with the other login, and there's no way to join the two, it becomes stupid. WHY would I want to pay the same biller under 2 different logins? The history would be all split up and make it VERY easy to make a mistake or overlook something.
Anyway, we only ever use his login. I didn't even remember that I had one. So today when I went to log in, it gave me a security question to answer. And I answered it wrong. It asked what middle school I went to... well, not remembering that it was 2 separate logins, I answered with MY middle school. And it locked me out. Now customer service won't reset it for me to be able to get into all of our billing history because I'm not him. Yes, it's a joint account. Yes I can tell them his ID info and password. No they still will not help me. And they're "very sorry for the inconvenience." Blah blah blah
So I'm ranting for a second.
I feel better now.
But DH is gonna be mad when I tell him he has to call customer service because I had a brain fart moment. Such is life, right?!
