Sometimes when I'm in the forums or on FB I spot little phrases that people invent to illustrate a point. Most recently, it was something Laura wrote on a grammar post... "Rogue Apostrophes." I can't help but think that some of these might make good names for a punk rock band. Another is "Inflatable Sheep."

Also, on a post a few months ago, people were describing things they'd found in their kids' rooms. Many of them sounded like good album titles for the fictitious bands I've invented...
meatball behind the drawers
boogers on the baseboard
turd on the second shelf
lollipop on the windowsill
small jar of pee
fecal messages on the shower door
pizza under the couch
saltine at the top of the stairs
sandwich in the bench
mini chips under the rug
bowls of something

Anyone else have anything to contribute? Or am I more than a bit delirious because it's way past my bedtime? :whistle

Not someone here, you dirty, dirty girl. ;)
It was someone on facebook a while ago and to tell you the truth, I can't remember what it was about.

Just recalled another one: Acoustic Eggbeater--I made that one up. I was licking some batter off a beater once and the beaters shifted and I got my tongue caught. Someone thought it was an electric beater and was very concerned but I told them it was not electric. It was one of those ones you crank by hand... an acoustic one. :)

ROTFL Liana! I love the way your mind works. I'm not that clever when I'm delirious. :D

There are band name generator websites that are loads of fun to play with. I spent way longer than I should have on one once, trying to come up with a name for a kit I was stuck on. Didn't come up with anything appropriate for the kit, but got loads of laughs out of it! :giggle

You are so funny Liana... And Kim, I'm not even that clever when I'm NOT delirious! Ha ha!

LOL!

I don't know... I kind of think Yellow Peep would make a good band name...

I do love how your mind works. You are totally cracking me up with your acoustic eggbeater.

DH and I get fixated on things like this sometimes, and we aren't even delirious... or are we? Hmmm. :D

We teased my daughter because instead of saying ambidextrous, she said "bi-handual" so when she was playing rock band we called her Bi-handual Strum.

I like Rusted Juncture as a band name. I don't know why, but I like how it sounds. I used that as a blog name, but I haven't really done anything with it yet.

These are so awesome, ladies! You are as creative with your names as you are with your layouts. :)
