How about something about where we live, town, country? Or our pets, if you don't have some you can borrow some of my kitties :)
 
We had the 4 Skinnies (3x12"). We had the 4 Face. And we just are just finishing the 4 Worlds.

Hmm ... How about The Yin vs The Yang? Opposite Attracts? And our canvas will be a circle.

Once upon a time I was crazy over this yinyang-thingy :p

And since we might not be having the weekly challenge, we can do the Yin-Yang either in general or for your life in THAT month ... or for any given month. We can also do it in themes - colours, objects (aka elements), seasons, etc.

Yup, I am still crazy abt The Yin vs The Yang :giggle Cos I am a very good example. :flirty

sorry I missed the chat, seems there are some changes about ?? I like that that weeks should work together somehow, even if it is only 2 not 4..... How about a favourite book or author one week ,and a character or a plot the next.???

Nemla, I was also thinking along the line of books & authors. We can AJ about how we see ourselves in our fav book-character. We can do the same for the TV & movies.

I know who I'd like to see myself as. *wink wink*

why dont we do PORTALS
that way we could use Books, Movies, even events of our lives...
we could do week 1
Past Portal
scrap something that was a portal you crossed , either physically or emotionally, or metaforically, whatever a POTRAL means to you...could be a change, or a marriage, or being a mother, or going to a different country....or an event that you have been through....
Seconf weekl Present PORTAL
same...we can scrap a book we are reading as a portal to fantasy, or a movie we love we watched recently, or some change we are going through...

Third week FUTURE POrtal
what would you LIKE to have as a portal possibility in the future

Fourth Week REALITY PORTAL:
what we think is more likely to happen , what possibilities can arrise, realistically, of having portals in the future or the fact that may be none....
dunno, I remember doing something similar at The Caravan in 2011...it wasnt the same...but remember the iodea sticking with me ...
 
I like the idea of focusing on techniques.
I also like the seasons one. That could be a cool merged image in the end.

What about likes/dislikes? This could be two different challenges. Likes one month. Dislikes another.

seems we wont be "bored" for a while with all the ideas flowing, I like all the suggestions, seasons we could have a lot of fun with. I like the idea of "merging" Christa's idea with Trista's.... Love the tv & movie idea too...
How about poster art from different eras ???? most of us are old enough to "remember " at least 3 different eras.."hemmmp"

Or we can use one of the above and complicated it with a deep-provoking thot/feelings to it. :giggle Or go the easy way out = Anything Will Do.

Or like Nemla said, combine any two of the above.

great ideas, Ladies!! I love, love the novel - character idea! And what character we think represents us. And the playing cards sound like fun, too.
 
1 photo, 1 paper, 1 word and 1 embellishment.

Being so restricted with what you have to play with really makes you think outside the box. :)
