I deliberately deleted that draw something game off my iPhone because it's so dam addictive saps up my time too much and the battery and low and behold Rhys has had my phone tonight and put it back on grrr kids!
 
LOVE that app! I do it in bed right before I fall asleep (what a dirty little sentence!). I've got games going with everyone from childhood friends and cousins to totally strangers all over the world. I can understand how you'd want to have it off, however because you're right-- it's a time suck. If only we got something for our efforts, like the challenges here at TLP...
Take heart! At least your child is downloading harmless, creative apps rather than dangerous, evil ones. :)

Luckily my DD has her own phone. I'd be so frustrated if my battery was dead. You poor thing.

But my DD (who is almost 24, mind you) is addicted to facebook games. She sneaks onto my facebook account and sends herself stuff in Castleville and some other crazy game. I go onto my facebook and see that there is stuff on my wall because she also sends stuff to people I went to high school with who play. It is craziness. She even created another facebook profile in a fictitious name so she can play with that account too. I told her I'm going to be glad when she moves and doesn't have internet. LOL.
 
LOL!!! I love Draw Something! I mostly laugh my behind off at how bad my drawings are! They are awful and I can't believe anyone guesses them! I need to scrap them. LOL!

I finally gave up on Facebook games after obsessing over them almost ruined one of my vacations! My mom plays them now though and I laugh when she and her friends from her Moose lodge sit around talking about how to find things in Gardens of Time, or whatever it's called.

This is TOTALLY me, too! I get such a crack out of how horrible I am, yet SOMEHOW, people keep guessing what I'm *trying* to draw. It's hilarious!
 
i like totally love that game.
i think everybody quit playing me. LOL
so add me!! i need more drawsomething friends!
 
I barely let my kids touch my phone... but my Ipad they can play a lot more. I should download that app for them, they'd probably like it! :)
