With the American Football Super Bowl happening tomorrow...

1. Are you watching it? And who are you rooting for?
Me....native to the East Coast, I am more of Eagles fan. But, I live in Missouri now...Yeah. I'm still going for the Eagles.
And truthfully, I don't watch sports these days. I pretty much only stream TV programs and movies. Nothing live anymore.

2. Are you a sports fan? If yes, what sport and team.
Retired from the the Army last year. While serving, it was a lot of fun to watch American Football and root for my team, The Washington Redskins (uhhhh...Washington Commanders...can't get used to that). It was a way to have camaraderie and good times with fellow Soldiers, who came from all over. But honestly, I am not a sports fan. I'd rather be crafting that watching a game.

I'm not a football fan AT ALL! So I will not be watching the Superbowl. However, I love ice hockey and I'm a big Pittsburgh Penguins fan!

I am more of a college football fan. Back in the 80's/90's I was a big fan of the NFL as was my Dad. His team was the Cleveland Browns, my team was the Seattle Seahawks. Even though we live closer to Cincinnati, we were not fans at all. The only time I went to a Bengals game was when the Seahawks were playing them. Seattle won and there were more Seattle fans in the stands than Bengal fans. I wasn't watching as much after Dad moved to North Carolina... we watched together. And, I really became disillusioned with the whole anthem thing.

As for tomorrow I don't care who wins and don't plan on watching. Now I will say that I did watch it last year... for the Bengals. I'm still not a Bengal fan but am a big fan of Joe Burrow. So as long as he is playing, I will root for him. He is from a community not far from a cousin of mine. That part of the state is considered Appalachia. It struggled during the pandemic as many families don't have internet and remote learning was not available without it but the state made it a point to bring the infrastructure needed to that area so those kids would not be left behind. Joe has started a food bank for the area that is doing many good things. I support him for that alone.

The only reason I know it's super bowl weekend is that yesterday many of the staff and students in my school wore sports team shirts and I asked what's going on. None of us in my family are interested in sports. Even Facebook apparently knows I'm not interested in sports because there's nothing about it there either. :lol

We will have the game on, but only because hubby is a giant sports fan. I like the half time show lol

I am not a huge sports fan - I like watching hockey, we cheer for the Oilers. But if it's not them playing I'm not likely to follow it - I'd rather be doing other things

1. Are you watching it? And who are you rooting for?
No I’m not watching it. I don’t even remember which teams are playing haha I usually root for the underdog when I don’t care either way.

2. Are you a sports fan? If yes, what sport and team.
I like sports but I don’t watch sports (or anything else) any more. I loved the Denver Broncos and Utah Jazz growing up, but I couldn’t name a single player on either of those teams any more. I’m happy watching my girls play sports now instead. :)

I was never a fan of the NBA but Stockton and Malone amazed me back in the days they played for the Jazz.

Not a big sports fan. At all. Me and neelix normally avoid it at all costs. We hide out in the bedroom and nap while Eric screams at the TV. He is a huge Green Bay packer fan. He even has a tattoo of the packer g on his shoulder .
I've never been athletic and never got into sports too much. I could care less

I do sometimes enjoy ice skating or watching gymnastics
And I swam in high school and I danced throughout my childhood..ballet

Yes, I will definitely be watching! I've been an Eagles fan since I was a little girl. I picked them out randomly and have just stuck with them ever since...good times and bad.

And yes, I LOVE sports. Football and baseball are my faves, although I'd rather watch baseball in person than on tv.

1. NO. Don't get it and it looks kind of rugby that I don't like either.
2. Love track and field, love country skiing, love biathlon, love swimming. I do have a family that loves almost every sports there is. Soccer, ice-hockey, handball, rugby aso. My ex-hubby can change time when we are going to meet because there are some soccer to see :)

No, we're not watching the super bowl.

We usually watch ice hockey games, I think that is something very common in Europe, especially in Northern Europe. I love ice skating, slalom skiing, skiing, and horse riding sports.

Does everyone know about this? Every time Phila sports teams are doing well and out partying in the streets people are always climbing the poles. It’s all over the news “the poles are greased! Don’t climb the poles!” But they still manage to climb the poles.

Our good friends are having a Super Bowl party so I'll sort of be watching although I don't really care who wins this one. I grew up on the East Coast so I'll be vaguely rooting for the Eagles, I suppose. I do like sports, particularly NFL football (not really interested in college FB) and hockey. But, I rarely sit down and watch a game anymore.

I will be watching. I am not usually a NFL fan, only college football. But, my college team is the Alabama Crimson Tide, and we have two recent alumni on the Eagles team so I am watching to see how Jalen Hurts (Eagles' Quarterback) and his running back Davonte Smith do tonight. So, go Eagles! My husband is also a college football fan, but he is from Nebraska so is pulling for the Kansas City Chiefs tonight as they are near his home state.

1. Are you watching it? And who are you rooting for?
Yes- although my daughter's softball practice gets over at the same time as the game starts- so we'll be a bit late. I'm not really rooting for either team. I'm a seahawks and sometimes Rams fan- just cause of the players who went to the same college as me, but honestly, we've been watching less & less football as our kids' own sports schedules get busier & busier.

2. Are you a sports fan? If yes, what sport and team.
Like I said above- we're seahawk fans by location (my mom has been a crazy fanatical fan my whole life) and Rams too- except when they play each other! ;)

But- we watch A LOT of hockey. My son plays for one of our local clubs- Coeur d'Alene Thunder Peewees- he's 11. My husband is his coach & also plays in the 35 & older league (beer league he calls it) and we also billet (means we house & feed) 2 of our local WHL hockey players (2 steps below Pro/NHL.) So we go to ALL the home Spokane Chiefs games and watch the away games online. That also means we watch a lot of the NHL games, as we know a lot of players that have continued onto pro.

ALSO- we watch a lot of college softball too! My daughter is hoping to play in college, so their coach gives them "homework" to watch a lot of the games. We usually watch & root for UW (University of Washington)- but really love the Women's College World Series that's in the Summer. GREAT softball games to watch!

We hide out in the bedroom and nap while Eric screams at the TV.

:rofl Oh that gave me a chuckle! Thats why watching sports was fun with others...it really wasn't about the team playing, it was having fun with the folks watching the game. But some are die-hard fans and you have to be careful what you say :overreact
