OK, so I LOVE Christmas. But it is over. And I SUPER LOVE my family, but enough is enough, people :giggle

It is raining again here in Georgia and we are going stir crazy :circles. Daddy is home (for 2 weeks). Four kids are home (for 2 weeks). We've seen Frozen. Twice, LOL. We've played with toys and new games and watched movies and made cookies out the wazoo.

We stayed up until Midnight for NYE last night and so today is especially fun around here. (can you say melt down? :tantrum)

I go back to work tomorrow and am not 100% sad about it :whistle

Am I the worst mom ever?

The icing on the cake... I haven't scrapped hardly any this holiday. :imok

Time to get back on schedule... Can I hear an Amen? :agree

Oh I am so glad I am not the only one, I have 2 autistic children at home who love routine, and Christmas and any other holiday or even weekends make it so hard for them to adjust
we have pec card daily calenders, time tables all set out with things we want to do and if its not the son having a melt down, its the daughter stimming (flaps her arms and shakes her head) cos she is excited and loves doing things, I try so hard to keep to the school time table asmuch as I can but there is just some days like playing with toys, going for a walk, having quiet time that is not on the adgenda which really puts a spanner in the works, roll on Tuesday when school commences, I will have 2 happy children once again.

As soon as we put the tree up sleep in the house became non exsistant as son every hour on the hour woke wanting us to bring him down turn the lights on and look at the tree, was kinda glad to take in down last Friday and put back in the loft for another year.

I do love my childrens quirky ways, but sometimes it can be very tiring

I'm glad the holidays are over too. I have enjoyed all the scrapping time I've had since my boys are teens now, but I think I'm ready for routine again. ;)

NO WAY!!!!!!!!

We still have Three Kings day and then 7 days after that then it all ends!

Having holidays in the middle of the week really makes me stressed out! I have to scramble so much at work to get things done that it's hard to relax and enjoy myself! I did have a great time this year, but I think I'm getting sick from being so crazy. Gotta get through two more days of work and possibly a snow storm (more stress!) before I can relax this weekend.

I go back tomorrow too and TGIASW. (Thank goodness it's a short week)

I am so ready for it to end... although I will miss the cash flow from the holiday's. As a server Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years Eve are our money makers lol

I completely understand, Jen.

DH has worked 3/4ths of a day in the last two weeks. I don't begrudge him his time off after busy season, but it drives me bonkers that he has used all this free time to sit in his chair and play on his phone, sit on the couch and play on his phone, eat, and fall asleep in the chair/on the couch while watching TV and playing on his phone. He is evidently under the impression that a magic house fairy is the one doing all the cleaning, running errands, taking care of DD, and cooking, so he needn't assist her. :rollingpin

DD has been very good all things considered, but she is starting to get restless. She doesn't go back to school until next Wednesday, but my MIL has been begging to have her over, so she will be doing that tomorrow or Friday.

If I can manage to get DD to MIL's house and then lock DH and his son out of the house for a couple hours, I'd be able to sit in the silence and stare at the wall for awhile in utter contentment... :giggle

hehe... if only. And here you go... :fairydance

You can borrow my House Fairy.

Sing it sister! I'm ready for my routine back too! But, I did have a couple of days while on break (we save vacation days to take the time off between Christmas and New Years to hang with the kiddos) so I was actually able to watch Netflix and scrap quite a few pages. I called it my warm up for MOC! :)

Packed up the Christmas tree and all the bots today .... it was boiling hot and only going to get hotter so it had to be done today .... so as far as we are concerned .... Christmas is done for another year :D
