I meant to post on the first of the month, but...anyway, this is the month of the military child and I am one and so are my two daughters. I couldn't be more proud of them in how they adjusted through the many homes, locations, friends, schools, ect. They both attended 3 elementary schools, lived in 6 different homes and locations. They both adjusted amazingly. So cheers to all who have military ties.

My niece & nephew are! My niece will be 5 this summer & will be moving into her 3rd home soon, 3rd state. My nephew will be 3 & this will be his 2nd. Dad has been deployed a few times & next is in June. And their mama was deployed at the end of 2020 through Mother’s Day 2021. They are amazing kids!

I couldn’t do the military life, but they are so resilient!

my dad & his sisters were military children too & even had a different country to call home for one of those moves.

Not a military child but lots of military in my Dad's family. 9 boys, 8 served, 1 killed in WWII. And, many of the grandchildren of these men have joined the military as well. Very proud to be a daughter of a veteran.

Not from a military family until my brother became an Army Ranger. They have been in one location the entire time he's been in the Army, but they are actually moving this summer and will be four hours closer to home. He's been deployed a lot, and his wife is amazing about it. She's super independent and has raised their two children to be the same way. I just got to see them the first weekend of April at my youngest sister's wedding. It had been two years since I had seen my brother.

So thankful for those that serve our country and sacrifice time with their loved ones.

I'm a military kid! Army Brat. I came very close to going into the Army as well and sometimes wonder what might have been. I love the experiences I had growing up!

Army Brat here too! Born in Fayetteville, NC (Fort Bragg), and raised up around the world. Loved the experiences I have had being a military family. My son joined the National Guard and heads off to basic training in September. The military is a pretty strong part of my family's roots.

I am not, but a lot of my family is. Three of my uncles served as well as grandfathers. My son is in the national guard, so two of my granddaughters are military children. They don't have to do all the moving around, but he was just recently deployed for over a year and is gone quite often for training.

Not military here either, but with my hubby's job, we've been relocated a few times. Our kids were champs about it - never complained. It's kind of fun and it all depends on how you embrace it! We always embraced it as an adventure.

Army brat here. Born in Louisiana (Fort Polk).

My granddad was in the Navy, my grandpap served in the Air Force, and multiple uncles, nephews, and brothers-in-law have also served.
