Happy April 1st everyone! Ha ha ha. Does anyone play April Fool's jokes? I normally don't but I did this morning. I took a snapshot of my hubby's iPhone screen and then set that as his background. Then I put all of his apps that are normally on the first screen into a folder and moved it two screens back. So when he picked up his phone and tried to click on an app it wasn't there and was just showing a picture of it being there. It wouldn't open. Hee hee :giggle He was playing with it at the breakfast table while we were eating and kept saying "hmmm.. that's weird" "What's going on?" He rebooted his phone twice! I even laughed out loud at one point and he thought I was just laughing at his confusion. Finally I told him there was a folder that might help... I put all his apps in a folder called April Fool's. Hee hee. He laughed and then made me fix it all. :gigglep:circles

Ooohhh... that's a good one! That's a good one for the teens.... I'll have to remember it for next year.

Clara made brownies for her class..

Get it? :-)

hahaha - these are great! i think i'm going to bring brown E's to my kids for a snack after school! (and then i'll have to give them real ones LOL!)

Karen, you're devious! I'd never get away with the brown E's around here, they'd kill me over that one, especially Chase, he is a brownie fanatic!

Karen - that is awesome!! I'm not skilled enough to pull that one off. Love the Brown Es too! I haven't done anything this year. Last year I did dirt dessert for my girls and served it in a flower pot with fake flowers. They fell for it - but that only works once.

LOL @ Briown E's

I really really dont have that level of expertise to pull something good...
but love the phone thing, I need to make a note of this for Sarita LOL

I always do a little silly something for the kids.
Last night... in the wee hours I ripped open the funyun chip bags from the bottom and emptied the chips out into a separate ziploc bag that I tucked out of sight. Then filled the chip bags with cheese puffs and a note, and resealed the bags.

I put google eyes on the kids sandwiches, with "gotcha" notes tucked in below the sandwich (with a note not to eat the eyes.)

I also took the yogurt covered raisins out of the box and put plain raisins in their place.

The biggest part of the prank was that I told them I went to bed too early last night and didn't have time to prank them today, so they assumed they were not going to get pranked until they got home from school.

That's really fun Trista! I totally did the Brown E's today for the kids (thank you Pinterest), and of course had the real ones hidden away. I normally hate pranks but little things like this with the people I'm closest to are fun.

Those are great, Trista!

I totally stole the Brown E's idea! It was perfect for my boys! They both fell for it! Thank you Tracy! I got pictures and everything! It was SOOOOO funny!

So we topped off the evening with removing the batteries from the remote. I heard DH bumping the remote trying to get it to work. He finally decided to replace the batteries and was very surprised to find my note.
The kids pulled the brown-E's on their dad, but he was aware something was up, but still it was a great giggle.

For all you non techies - there is a setting in windows under personalizing your screen to invert the desktop. Imagine everyone's ( like my husband) surprise when they try to navigate the upside down screen.

no pranks here, but wow.. love all of yours.. the Brown E's.. Priceless... Karen that is devious and funny!!

Ah! These are all great fun pranks! My hubby got both our boys at lunch yesterday. He put a rubberband around the faucet sprayer and then told the boys to take care of their plates and to rinse them off before they put them in the dishwasher. I didn't know what he was up to and asked him why they needed to rinse their plates (we never rinse). Then I got caught in the spray. Ha ha. Then my youngest was determined to get us back. He took some of the frozen cold packs out of the freezer and stuck them in our bed down by our feet. He was so proud of his prank. :giggle

Fun times!
I can imagine how tickled the littles were to trick mom and dad.

oh the brownies were a hit, but I was laughing so hard, I took zero photos...but I will have to do a photoless page!
I had kids lined up after church for the brown Es
The adults were hilarious...I had them in a foil covered pan..and I cook a lot normally so it was something they were so happy about. My littles told everyone, "my mom is making brownies in nursery tonight for EVERYone!" OH did they all laugh!!
Some took an extra brownie to "share" with someone they love!

I love the googly eyes, Trista! I will need to remember that for next year. It will be my first April Fool's with lunches to pack, as our preschool has a kitchen but the school doesn't.

Oh that will be a fun first Lorry!
