Thank you to all who come to the 3PM EDT Slow Scrap chat and to everyone who participates in the Nicole's Slow Scrap!! You will have until 4PM EST Saturday April 2 to complete your page.

Everyone who completes their page according to the instructions will receive a coupon to Nicole's store.

Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery under Speed Scraps and link here in this thread so I make sure to give you credit.

GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% NBK products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

In the meantime lets get started with the instructions for the fun Slow Scrap:

NBK Slow Scrap Instructions:

1) 1 photo
2) at least 1 mask
3) Sprinkle or two (or scatter) or magic light
4) paper (1 or more)
5) brushes (as much as you like)
6) Wordart
7) at least 5 elements (can do more)
8) journaling and date is optional

I added magic lights to the background, but also onto the paper mat/photo frame at reduced opacity and I really like the added interest it gave to the plain white paper.

I had thought of doing heritage, but with all of the snow we are getting (today they are predicting 3-5 inches), I went with a recent snow pic (from March 31).
500 elements: :faint2
1 teal flower
1 pine branch
1 berry branch
1 tall greenery
1 magic lights
1 artsy bit (grid piece behind photo)
1 teal paper bag
