Did you guys watch the final performances last night?
what did you think? who do you want to win and did you vote?:yesss
 
I watched!

I LOVED Phillip's last song--the others were okay for me, not great. I am just not a huge Jessica fan. I think she is an amazingly talented singer, but she is just SO young.....I think that for the most part she has chosen songs that are way too mature for her--granted, it is probably difficult finding songs that are age appropriate.

I just love Phillip. I don't really know why, but I think that he just loves singing so much and he is fun to watch. and his type of music is totally what I am loving right now. I don't think there is any way that he won't win.

and yes, I totally voted! :)
 
I watched, but I didn't vote. I really think Phillip is going to win. He seems to have more of the fan vote. I also really liked his last song.

I also think it's pretty crappy that someone who was voted off weeks ago made it to the final two...so if I had voted it wouldn't have been for Jessica.
 
I watched but didn't vote. I think Jessica is a fabulous singer, but she just doesn't "wow" me. I can't see me every listening to her or buying anything from her. Maybe if she were older...she's just so young and I think she needs a few more years.

I love Phillip and if I had voted, I'd have voted for him. He's been our favorite from the beginning. I was loving the last song, but then I didn't like it when the drum line came in...it was just weird for me. BUT...that being said, I think he's fantastic and totally deserves to win.

I don't like that they have that one save. I think if she had been voted off...she should've gone home.
 
I have been less interested since Colton left. Then Skylar. I hope Phil wins. I do not like Jessica. I thought her last song was horrible but his was ok. He seems more marketable to me.
 
I may be biased since he is from DH's hometown...but I have been a Phillip fan from the beginning :)

I think his last song was the absolute best original song that an idol has ever preformed. Jessica doesn't wow me either..I mean the girl can sing...but I never get a sense of who she is when she preforms.

Plus I really have a problem with them constantly reminding us she is only 16, saying that they need to pick stuff that is "age appropriate" then during top 3 week, the judges pick song for her is My All with the lyrics "I'd risk my life to feel,
Your body next to mine". I don't know...maybe I am just getting to be a stick in the mud in my old age, but I think they could have done better with her.
