Anyone read Iced from the Fever series? *Spoilers*

I finished reading Iced, the latest installment in Karen Moning's Fever series, on the plane last night. Meh. Ryodan is no Barrons (ahhhh, our beloved JZB) and even though I thought Dani was fun, she was definitely no Mac either. The weird lust scenes from Christian and Ryodan towards Dani were a bit freaky. Hellooooo. She's 14...that's pedophilia. Blech. Obviously, I didn't love the book, but I didn't hate it either.

Anyone else?
 
No cause I'm in the minority and couldn't get into fever I gave up on second one maybe ill enjoy it on a later date :(
 
No I haven't yet and think it is because I loved the fever series too much, and when I read the reviews about Iced I was ...... no thanks! I like Dani's character but more her interactions with Mac than a stand alone personality ... and yes the idea of them and her so young just gross!
 
i haven't read it yet - i'm going to have to give it a go just bc i've read everything else in the fever series - but yea, it doesn't sound awesome :( but maybe knowing that going in is good b/c my expectations will be low ;)
 
I am about 80% through it. I like being back in that world again, but I am not loving the book. My gripes - The love triangle between Ryodan/Dani/Christain is such a rip off of Mac/Barrons/V'lane and Dani being 14!! If she were 17 or 18 this would be a much better book since you could replace the creepy factor with a little romance. Dani annoyed the crap out of me in the Fever books, she is not so bad now. Christian is just weird. But I like Ryodan and the rest of his crew. Not sure I get the Jo thing though, or Kat/Cruce. Oh and I like Dancer. Looking forward to more of him.
 
I haven't read it yet but it's def on my list. I'm probably grabbing it today or tomorrow but to tell you the truth I didn't like Dani that much on the Fever series, I thought she was kinda annoying with all that Mega bla bla bla. lol However it is Dublin and Fairies all over again and I LOVE that!! So, I'll give it a try :)
 
oh that's the series I was trying to remember the name... off to check it out!
