Anyone from Arizona?

We are going to Arizona this summer for a mini-road trip followed by a week in Scottsdale. Do you have any tips for things we can't miss? Looks like our route will be roughly Sedona - Williams - Vegas - lake havashu- Yuma - Scottsdale. I know it will be hot. Anything else I need to know?
