Anyone else done with winter????

GAH!!!! Seriously! It's -18C with the wind this morning!!! Our normal highs for this time of year are usually +9C!!! I'm so tired of winter and the cold. I just want to crawl back in to bed right now... this is what my yard looks like right now:

This is what my yard should look like. Yes I know it's mud, but at least it's not freezing!

Wozers Renee, looks like you are even worse of then we are here in the Netherlands. But I too am sick and tired of the cold and the grey colours all around. I want sun and lots and lots of bright green surrounding me, plus I want to hear the birds sing and chatter.

Can you believe it was colder here during Easter weekend than it was at Christmas!!

I totally understand your rant and I am with you girl!

We are at 36F at 9:45am.. not bad, not amazing!
 
It's currently 41F here in PA and only supposed to get up to 45. Although the forecast says 'Abundant Sunshine.' I'll take it. I really feel like spring is taking a long time to get here this year. I want to be able to do my runs outside. And drive the car with my moonroof open and not have the heated seats on.

OMG... you have some cheerful weather people, ours never use the word "abundant" specially not preceding "sunshine". Enjoy your moonroof ride!
 
my sincere apologize for complaining this morning on my early morning walk. I was snarking that I had to put on my hoodie, due to the breeze.
I will not even go on about the tulips and daffodils in full bloom or the fact I put away all our winter jackets last week, and shaved my legs twice this week so I could wear shorts, I won't even tell you!
 
Oh yuck! I talked to my brother over the weekend and he was telling me about how they still have snow and cold there still! He said he's always wanted to experience a northern Ontario winter but didn't realize it would last so long :giggle I hope it melts away soon!
 
Seeing signs of Spring now which I'm ecstatic about! The hubby needs for Vitamin D!!!
 
I wish....we haven't had a bad winter, but enough of the gray to last me forever.....ready for the sun and flowers.....no more overcast or rain :(
 
Ugh! Me too! I am SO ready for some warmth! It got to almost 40 today and it felt warm. That's so pathetic! LOL! It's supposed to be almost 60F on Friday though. I can't wait. My sister and her family are coming into town on Thursday evening, so my hubby and I are taking the day off on Friday to let all the kids play and just sit outside! It BETTER not rain! LOL!
 
No! There will be no winds because I don't want them. I willing them to stay away. Think it will work?
 
SO DONE WITH COLD TOO!!! I hear ya girl!!! We have had a good dose of sun at least, but I am so jealous of all my facebook friends posting pics of their spring break vacations down in Florida and warmth!!! In my area we are always keeping an eye on weather around this time for our tulips - we have a big Tulip Time Festival that brings in tons of tourists and we have had one too many "stem festivals". Last year the tulips came too early and were pretty much gone by time the festival arrived, but this year I am afraid they aren't going to even come up! They are thinking "bag this weather...we are staying underground"! In like a lion, out like a lamb...right?!
 
While you girls are sick of the cold I'm done with the heat here!! It's autumn already and it feels like we are in the middle of SUMMER!! It's been 88-90ºF over here these days! I could really use some chilling right now lol
Shall we swap places???? :giggle
 
Yesterday's high here was 46F! Seriously.....I live in the south for a reason! This spring has been crazy though! One day we're around 80F and the next day its in the 40s!
 
Same here! Its not nearly as bad for us, but last year my kids were in tee shirts and capris and this year we are still wearing our winter coats and gloves. Not what I like to see in spring when I'm getting ready to plant my tomatoes!!

Oh, no...I'm sorry about that. :(

We just moved to El Paso in January and I love that it's already in the 80's here! I don't like being cold and I was pretty much able to avoid it for most of the winter this year.
