Anyone choose one little word each year?

I picked a word for 2011. I even had it printed on a necklace. It totally worked for me. I loved it. I haven't started thinking about my word for 2012 but I will be choosing one again for sure.
 
i did choose a word last year - and although i think about it a lot, i cannot really say that i fully embraced it :( BUT - i do have a new word for next year that i am really excited about :)
 
I always pick a word, but usually don't do anything with it other than I did have a vinyl wall decal printed one year. But it has been on my mind, and this year's word does pop up from time to time. So basically I will do it again even though I don't really do anything. Pretty easy. LOL.
 
I did Ali's class this year because like most of you I picked the word at the start, maybe thought about it throughout the year but didn't really do anything. This year it was great! I put my word into action, it was on my mind a lot and I got a cute album made (well almost, I am a little behind)
 
I pick a word and I really do think about it throughout the whole year! Last year was SIMPLIFY and this year was CONNECT. I really went out of my comfort zone a lot this year thinking about my word. I asked two acquaintances I wanted to get to know better out for lunches (so glad I did!) and I am on TWO CTs here at TLP because I wanted to feel more connected to this place. Even if you don't DO anything with your word, it becomes a sort of mantra or theme for the year. I am thankful for AE for introducing me to this concept, I will never NOT do it anymore. It's comforting to me!
