And if so... what templates do you use? I want to start a modified PL (2 page spread for each month) but really want it all digi. Are there some great templates in the store that would work for all year, or do you use different ones for different pages?

I see a few that would work, but any that you love?

Thanks!

I'm on my phone so I can't link up, but...

Valorie Wibbens has her Pockets line and No 4 is the main PL designs

Lynne-Marie has her DYY line that isn't the 3x4 or 6x4 sizes but are really fun for doing digi block style layouts... she also has some PL friendly doodled blocks and templates to build your own template

Amy Martin has some stitched templates that you can use

I did 100% digital for 2012 and you can find many of my layouts in my gallery and I used Val's Pocket No 4 a lot :) and Amy's stitched templates... and that was before Lynne-Marie was designing here otherwise I totally would have used hers too

Thanks, Heather! I actually own Valorie's Pocket Line 7 pack and thought about using these. I'll check into 4 as well once I'm up and running :). I suppose it's ok to start on january in august, right? hehe

i tend to mix and match between val's packs... and then, i modify them if i need other sizes. sometimes i use my own stitched templates, too... ;)

Amy has a set called Project Grids and one called Project Grids 2 that are perfect for this.

I use Valorie's pockets no. 3. I modify the sometimes too.

OMGosh! I have these in my stash, LOL! I picked them up a while back when they were in the SOSN sale (thanks, Amy). How could I have forgotten. I love them!

I'm all digi. I was using a non-Lilypad template from Katie Pertiet - I liked it because it had a border, and a base paper - but I switched to Amy Martins's project grids because I decided I didn't like the border anymore, and I wanted to be able to share here in the galleries. I'm also planning on getting Val's (why didn't I get it during the sale??), and switching them up. I do use Val's pocket card templates - I love them! Journalers and her newest one, Little Details. And, I love love Lynne-Marie's 4 x 6 DYY Template Builder - basically, you have a 4 x 6 box, and Lynne-Marie added all of these layers of different size clipping masks that you can turn on or off to create your own 4 x 6 collage. Its so much handier than getting a pack of 4 x 6 premade templates where you have to keep going back into the folder to find one thats going to work with your photos. You just keep Lynne's open, and switch around what boxes you want to use. if this doesn't make sense, she has a video tutorial when you click on the product. Another thing I use to make pocket cards is an action by WendyZine (I think that's how you spell it). Too simplify things, I've been using one kit per week (I used to pull supplies from all over the place but that took forever). You run the action, and it will either create a 3 x 4 or 4 x 6 card, vertical or horizontal, and then prompt you to build the card, adding shadows for you as well.

Good luck - I'm sure your project is going to be awesome!

I'm working on doing it all digital. I always have the temptation to go paper, but digital is just so much easier.

I'm all digi. I use Val's pockets. Mostly No. 6. Love them. I always get people asking about the templates.

I use Val's no. 6 as well. I only do one page per week, so it goes by pretty quickly.

A little late to the party. I am trying to catch up on PL for this year, but wanted to chime in to say that I too am a fan of the DYY series from Lynne-Marie. So versatile and easy to edit to fit my needs. I have used them a LOT!

i'm all digi, but i don't really stick with a template set. i tend to just make up stuff...whatever i'm in the mood for when i sit down to scrap. but it looks like you've gotten some great suggestions already! any of val's or amy's templates always work great!!

I'm currently paper PL but as soon as this year is over I'm switching to digi. I adore my stash of hands on stuff, but it has just become too hard to keep up with - especially the printing photos. So I'm really looking forward to moving to a digi Pl (can't switch yet as I still have too much stuff to use up and I'm determined to stick it out this way, lol!). I've seen a ton of project grids and pockets on TLP that will be perfect. I tend to mix and match a lot so I think it will be easy to find a lot of stuff that will work.

I've done an annual book with a 2-pg LO for each month in the past - my month in review albums - which is what I think you are considering doing. I did these hybrid and digitally so I didn't use a set template. I was creating something new each month which was a ton of work! Using project grids/DYY and VW's pockets are definitely the way to go! ;)

I just switched to digital in July. A part of me really misses my paper PL, though... but I'll likely stick with digital. I use a template that a friend made, but I really like Val's No. 6 template. Might need to get that with my challenge coupon. :)

I am all digital....although behind right now. And this is the first year I've done it, AND I didn't start till April (when I got my iPhone). But I made my own template and tweak it as necessary each week.

I decided to go with Amy's Project Grids and I'm thrilled with the results. Only doing a 2 page spread for each month, although it's harder than I imagined to limit my photos, LOL. I just want to catch up for this year and may do more in 2014 :).

take advantage of the photo collage templates in the store... Liz even has some free ones if you don't have some already...

and I listed a few of my favorites in this thread...
