DH just finished his first week of work. I think it's going good so far. The worst part is he has to be at work at 5am most days, and until we can afford to move he's got a1.5 hour commute each way, which means he's waking up at 2:30 am (yuck). DD and I actually went with him yesterday (thank goodness he didn't have to be there until 6) and explored the town a bit. DD made friends everywhere we went (and she may have a new favorite librarian). It will still be 2 weeks to a month before we can really look at moving, which means I'm still internetless for at least that amount if time. Once everything falls in place and we get moved though, I think things will be so much better for us than they have been the past few years. I'm so thankful for my family but I'm so ready to stop having to lean on them so much.
 
I'm so glad things are going well with the start of his job. I hope you can get settled soon.
 
That's a miserable time of day to wake up, but I'm glad things are working out for you guys!

What a team you guys are!!! I read your post and just marvelled at you both. This will be the memories that strengthen your marriage and laughter eventually. But I am betting y'all find things to smile about on a daily basis. Scrapping can wait. Just glad things are moving in good directions.
 
So great to have a sunshine girl who can make friends anywhere and find the good corners in any town. What a gift she must be :)

I'm so glad to hear things are coming together! No Internet....but you've still been able to scrap, right? I hope you'll flood the gallery when you're back online!

So glad the work is going well! That's a rough commute at any time, but I'm sure the super-early schedule makes it even harder. I hope he's able to get some good rest in while he's home and that you all are able to move closer and get settled very soon!

Kellie, he's in SE Mo. My brother is in Benton though, so I'm sure we will be heading down that way a few times a year.

Lynette, unfortunately I haven't scrapped that much. Only two pages (and one of them is already uploaded). Apparantly I need either new goodies or an internet connection to scrap. I've been tagging previews though, and also tagging some elements and such that inspire me in some way, so that they are easy to find when I do start scrapping again.

I just have to keep reminding myself that it's only a little bit longer.
 
oh Sarah, I can so relate
was absolutely miserable when my pc died

and yet, I did get alot of housework done lol
