1. Why were you given your particular name?
My paternal grandma wanted to name me Polly Anna, so my parents compromised and named me Paula Ann

2. How many brothers and sisters do you have?
I have one brother and one sister, both younger

3. What is your favorite thing to do?
shop at TLP, scrap, cook, and genealogy

shrimp cooked any way

I love To Kill A Mockingbird

I love football - especially when my son is playing

1. Why were you given your particular name? OMG, I can't believe you asked this. and I can't believe I'm answering honestly! LOL! Um, my dad suggested my name (Julie Ann). Turns out it was the name of an old girlfriend of his who's name he always liked! and yes, my parents are divorced!
2. How many brothers and sisters do you have? A bunch of step and half siblings, but no full siblings.
3. What is your favorite thing to do? Take pictures of my dogs
4. What is your favorite food? I don't have a favorite - I just love food!
5. What is your favorite book? The Thorn Birds. Good trashy reading!

12. What is the strangest food you ever ate? I'm a horribly picky eater, so I don't eat much that's "strange." Probably calamari.

1. Why were you given your particular name? My mom's name begins with an E, I am the first daughter, so my name should be like hers. They thought Erica beautiful, and that is my name.
2. How many brothers and sisters do you have? One sister and one step-sister. Two sister, anyway.
3. What is your favorite thing to do? Sleeping and, well, I don't know. Something I know I am not wasting my time doing it.
4. What is your favorite food? Any kind of pasta.
5. What is your favorite book? This one is pretty hard. Probably The Notebook, Nicholas Sparks.
6. What is your favorite candy bar? Sensação - chocolate and strawberry.

12. What is the strangest food you ever ate? I don't remember the strangest, but I have eaten some strange Japanese ones, rabbit and mutton. These are strange for me.

1. Why were you given your particular name? My mom was watching a show on missing kids and one of the girls names was Katrina and she fell in love with the name, when I was little i thought for sure that meant i was going to go missing too. lol

4. What is your favorite food? depends on my mood right now i want mashed potatoes, gravy & chicken cutlets. Good thing im making that for supper

1. Why were you given your particular name? According to my Dad, the story goes that my parents couldn't decide on what to name me. So they had different names for each day of the week and whatever day I was born on was the name they would choose. I was born on a Wednesday and so I got the names "assigned" to that day. My mom says she just picked her two favorite Biblical names for my first and middle names. LOL. Not sure which is the more "accurate" story of my naming.

2. How many brothers and sisters do you have? 1 sister

3. What is your favorite thing to do? Family time. Followed closely by scrapping.

4. What is your favorite food? Chocolate.

5. What is your favorite book? my favorite novel is To Kill a Mockingbird

6. What is your favorite candy bar? oooh hmmm...probably a Reese's Peanut Butter cup. I think PB and Chocolate has to be the best food combo evah.

7. What is your favorite cookie? Chocolate Chip.

8. What is your favorite sport? I love all sports, but football is probably my fave to watch.

9. What is your favorite kind of music? I love all genres so I can never answer this question, lol. I little bit of everything I guess.

10. What is your favorite song? Again totally can't pick just one. Right now I'm all over the holiday tunes, lol. And anything by Neil Diamond I'll love. He's my cheesetastic music indulgence.

11. What musical instruments can you play? Sadly, none. At least not proficiently. I took both piano and cello lessons as a child and let both of them go. My mom always told me I'd regret it, and of course she was right.

12. What is the strangest food you ever ate? Hmmm..strange food. I guess I haven't ever really eaten anything too strange. I've had eel and octopus and squid and such with sushi. I've also eaten alligator, venison and buffalo and caribou, but I suppose those aren't really strange. Or are they?

1. Why were you given your particular name? My sister's name is Cynnamon, and I've heard several inconsistent stories about how SHE was named, but the bottom line is that when I was born they didn't want to name me "Jill" (for example) and my paternal Grandma was the one who suggested Peppermint. I was almost Ginger. Although if I'd been a boy I would have been named Travis.

2. How many brothers and sisters do you have? One sister. I have two stepbrothers, but both of my parents remarried late in life so we didn't grow up with our step brothers or anything. I barely know them.

3. What is your favorite thing to do? Waste time on the Internet - I'm a champion at it.

4. What is your favorite food? Red Snapper Tacos ala Parella at a local mexican restaurant (but really any fish taco will do in a pinch)

5. What is your favorite book? I couldn't narrow this down to one really, I've read so many that I love. This year I set a reading goal (of 25 books) because I felt like I had strayed too far from my reading days. So far I'm up into the 30s - so I'm definitely setting a goal again for 2010. Anyone with me?!

6. What is your favorite candy bar? I'm pretty equal opportunity with all candy bars, but if I'm in the checkout I usually grab either a Snickers or a Ferrero Rocher.

7. What is your favorite cookie? Again, I won't turn down too many cookies. LOL I love frosted christmas cookies, though. Hold me back!

8. What is your favorite sport? None of them. Nada. Not a sports fan.

9. What is your favorite kind of music? People close to me describe it as "angst-filled folk music" ... I listen to a lot of Ingrid Michaelson, Indigo Girls, Patty Griffin, Meiko, Ra Ra Riot etc. But in my car I don't usually listen to music - I have Howard Stern on pretty much all the time.

10. What is your favorite song? "When It Don't Come Easy" by Patty Griffin

11. What musical instruments can you play? I play a mean guitar on Rock Band. Haha. I don't think I could play any actual instruments anymore, but when I was younger I played the violin, the piano and the trumpet.

12. What is the strangest food you ever ate? I'm not horribly adventurous, but I tried this Poor Man's Sandwich once because someone I worked with was like "I know it sounds disgusting, but it's soooo good". And ... I took a bite and threw it out. LOL It's such a big hit on the Internet, though. Google search it once. Bunch of insane people - I guess I'm poor, but not THAT poor.

At a little diner in Bartlesville, OK, they have the "Hot Hamburger"...a thick slice of Texas toast, topped with a hamburger patty and fries, drowned in brown gravy. A heart attack on a plate but it was good.

Well I just said "25 books" back in January - I just read whatever. LOL I figured 25 books meant about one every 2 weeks, so I squeezed in whatever I found at Half-Price Books and then eventually I got my Sony eReader and that's revolutionized my reading.

I don't do well on book clubs, though - I don't like other people dictating what I read. I just ... want to read. LOL

ETA: You should read "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett, though. I just read it about a month or so ago and it was so good! No sex, no ghosts, no vampires. LOL
