    I love this author - Finished The Kite Runner - touching and beautiful and now reading "A Thousand Splendid Suns".

    And the Mountains echoed is definitely on my TBR list!

    I've read The Kite Runner and loved that one. Both of the others are on my to-read list. I just can't keep up with all the books I want to read!

    I've been trying to read authors who write novels about Afghanistan, Early India, and the East. Jane Johnson's The Salt Road I loved. Also The Tenth Gift.
