Although my ex-husband and I share custody of my daughter, she is rarely away from me when it's her week at our house but yesterday, she had her first every sleepover at Grampa's. I'm not sure who found it more difficult, her or I lol. It DID go pretty well but I know she (for a little bit) wanted to come back home. My father took such good care of alleviating her fears and so she stayed. I am not really looking forward to those teens years…I will barely see her and she'll be so busy having fun with her friends and spending time with her Momma will be incredibely uncool . She is my one and only...I need to have more babies :/

It is so hard! They grow so fast and we want to hold on to the little for as long as we can. Kudos to gpa for working so hard to make her comfy and kudos to you for making it as well.
