And boy are my legs tired...

that's fantastic! i completely 100% admire runners. wish i were a runner. but i stink at it.
huge congrats on your time!! that's amazing! hope you enjoyed your dinner after that!

Everyone thinks that. It sucks at first. You just have to run a tiny bit (one minute), walk a bit, run another tiny bit. And just slowly turn your tiny bits into big bits. I hated it for months, but I have never once regretted learning to do it.

If you lived closer, I'd make you sign up for my running clinic. I coach Couch to 5k. You should SEE some of the people that manage to do this, they inspire me so much. 2 of my students from spring ran a half marathon yesterday! Last night a 62-year-old cancer survivor who has never run a day in her life ran 3 miles without stopping. Running is awesome!

Angie, you totally inspire me!! I fell off the bandwagon when I had my gallbladder out, and have yet to manage to get back on. We're just now beginning to try for another baby, and my attitude, is "why bother?". Just when I got to where I could run a mile or two again, I'll be spending my days hanging over a toilet, sick, and I'd loose all of my progress. I think I'll just wait until after Thing 3 comes along and then hit it with all I've got!

That's amazing...way to go! I did 3 5k's this year, but I'm looking forward to bettering my time next year! You're inspiring!!

That's awesome Angie! WoW, you've done a MARATHON too? :yesssYou go girl!!! Geez... I would be crawling after the 13.1 miles. I did a half a few years back and I couldn't imagine turning around and doing it again. I've decided I want to do another half so I've signed up for the OUC Half Dec. 3. It's creeping up on me......:peekin

I'm more sore from the half than I was from the full marathons. That's a nice slow jog. LOL
