I saw this on Pinterest (shocking, I know) and decided to start it October 1st with my family. We're each adding something to our Thankful tree every night, leading up to Thanksgiving. Then, we're going to read them all back at Thanksgiving dinner. I know some of you are outside the US and obviously don't celebrate Thanksgiving...but, I think an attitude of gratitude is always good.

So, I thought we could keep this thread going until the end of November. Pop in whenever you have your own gratitude to add, whether that is daily or weekly. It doesn't have to be a big thing. It could be something small - the baby took a long nap, your barista made your coffee perfectly, you got all green lights on your way to work... You get the idea! Let's be grateful.

this is such a nice idea! I might go with it, but in a different way with a thankful box or jar or some such! Thank you for sharing Laura!

I have that pinned too! Love it.

Today I am thankful for a hard-working husband who sometimes works TOO much but I know he does it because he wants to take care of our family the best he can :)

I adore this idea!

Today I'm thankful for the Lord's tender mercies. For those small things that happen every day that show me he loves me and KNOWS me. That's today. :)

I have that pinned too! I think...given the year we have had, this would be a great project for our family as well. Thanks for the kick in the arse :)

This morning..right now, petty as it may sound...I am grateful for coffee. lots of it.

Laura, I SO love this idea. This year I have been recording One Thousand Gifts (inspired by Ann Voskamp's book) and it has been SO good for me.

Today, I am thankful for my parents visiting from out of town, how much my boys enjoy them, and sweet talks with my mom.

this morning i'm thankful for alarm clocks. a full pantry. "i love you's" from my kids on the way out the door. and the view from my desk (looks out onto a beautiful field and tree line *happy sigh*)

awesome idea Laura!!! You totally got me hooked to pin interest, before I just looked around and now I feel the urge to pin everything LOL.

Today I am thankful for the cute little 2 year old boy I watch having a blast with my toy piano, def. makes me smile and laugh. He's helping me get through my monday bleahs lol.

I am thankful for caffeine this morning. I stayed up way too late scrapping last night! (but I am also thankful for the cup full of mojo lately!) :)

This is awesome! I am thankful for an amazing mother in-law (actually step-mother in-law) that is always so very helpful when we need an extra hand. :)

This is such a great idea, Laura! Thanks for sharing!!

Today I'm thankful for (I know, very cliche but...) my family. We had a wonderful Anniversary weekend in the Keys this past weekend and it was so much fun!

How cool! Last year I posted on my facebook status every day in November something that I was thankful for. I'll probably do it this November too...and write them all down so I can make a layout.

Anyway, today I am thankful that the Halloween DVD my daughter rented from the library actually worked. It's hit or miss and she's always crushed when they don't work.

I am thankful that my workout is done for the day. Yup...it's the little things! :)

I am thankful for the absolutely gorgeous weather we having here - LOVE autumn!
