American Idol vs. X Factor

Okay, so now that X factor is over and American Idol is on again. Anyone have a preference? Is anyone watching?

Last year I was super skeptical of Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez, but ended up liking them through the auditions, didn't love them on the live shows.

X-Factor....I started watching because I like Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul (they both entertain me) and really enjoyed the audition process over Idol's, but the live shows???? I ended up finishing it out, but most weeks were complete train wrecks. The judges rarely said much that was constructive and I don't know if I will watch again next year.

I have kind of half watched the first night of auditions on my DVR, haven't decided how closely I will follow.

I'm not in America but we have same sort of programs and have to say this year our x factor was crap because we didn't have Simon cow ell you did lol

I LOVE them both. I heart Simon so I followed him faithfully. And last year I fell in love with Steven Tyler. So I will continue to watch both. Hahahahaha

I ended up liking the new cast of AI too. But now after X Factor this season is seeming flat. Maybe I will get more into it as they narrow down.
