Anyone else alter books and enjoy using digi supplies to make them pretty?

Hear My Voice Remembering was one of the first digi collections that I ever included in my collages within this special book series, and it's on Sale today as part of our SOSN along with my other picks!!

I bought a collection of Children's Board Books second hand from ebay and have loved using their sturdy structure as a substrate for collage.

Sometimes I even bring the story or nursery rhyme theme into the spread too like in the Jack and Jill page that you can see in the video. If you'd like a peek at the other pages in my book step inside . .

I love that. These are so amazing. Whenever I go to the library, I look in the sale section (Friends of the Library) at the board books and sometimes find a good one. I have been hoarding them for a bit and need to actually put things in them. Maybe this is the nudge I needed!
 
I love the idea of altering a children’s board book. I have to go to the thrift store tomorrow and see if I can find some! Thanks for the inspiration.

I really love your art journaling and the mix of techniques you have used.
