Okay, I am in the midst of experiencing all the feels!

I've mentioned recently that I've just gotten back into scrapping after several years away. I am just struggling to find a style that feels like a good fit, so i have re-scrapped the same pic a few times, just trying to find something that works for me.
So anyway, I spent some time this morning looking back through some older layouts in my gallery, just trying to reacquaint myself with what i've done in the past. In looking through some of the comments left on my pages, i was reminded of how kind and supportive the people of this community truly are! we had full conversations via the comments on my pages, and i LOVE that!

So i just wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU to everyone for being so encouraging to others! Feel free to comment here and share something you love about being a part of TLP. We can just feel all the feels together! :)

I love the sense of community, the encouragement and support, whether that's emotional or a scrapbooking technique.
I love the gallery for the inspiration.
I love the challenges, both the monthly and the designer ones, and the generous designers that give a template each month.
I love recognizing people in their photos, seeing people's families grow up, celebrating the details of cyber friends that I feel I have known for many years.
I love the fun and games of DSD, iNSD, Halloween bash, Document your December etc.
I love the feeling of family and belonging.

I absolutely love that too! I love when I get to know people here through their pages, the comments in the chatty pad and also the people that I have come to my chat and speed scraps too! Just like Liz said with her post the other day too about watching each other changes over the years and watching some our of kids growing up too. Such a special place on the interwebs! :heartslub

I love that you found kindness and support by looking through your old gallery Rebecca! That’s the best!

I love being a part of TLP because I love all the products and I love all the people.

I love how welcoming TLP are when you are new. I felt at home immediately.

& I love the challenges, always a little extra twist or something that make you think.

Ha! I just noticed your Halloween avatar. Not sure thinking is good for you right now. :rofl

Yeah, this place is great. I haven't been hanging out here much lately simply due to time constraint issues and needing to do things other than scrapping (gasp!), but The LilyPad is the happiest scrapping place on the web. I was involved in another now-closed site when one of my designers I CT'd for went over there, and it was Nasty with a capital N. The backstabbing and need to control everyone's thoughts and movements was beyond belief. I was blacklisted and almost banned from the site for not being in the sheeple clique, and one CT member even went out of her way to discredit everything I did. It was horrible, and I was so happy when it closed.

I'm so happy here. I agree with what everyone has been saying - this is a happy, encouraging, friendly and helpful place. Thank you to everyone - designers, CTers, scrappers, and all you wonderful people who post comments on everyone's pages. Ya'll are the best. Thank you.

I agree @Karen and @StefanieS ... I love getting to know people through their pages and watching their kids grow.

Oh my gosh, @QuiltyMom !! I am so sorry that happened to you. I am most definitely not a drama-lover, and I would not have enjoyed that AT ALL. I'm glad you've found a place at TLP where you can be drama free. I don't think I've ever experienced anything but kindness here!

My husband passed 18 months ago. Coming back was hard, but I jumped in to MOC, partly because I have participated for many years, and partly to get back to creating. I’m still working to get more consistent, culling my photo library. I will say that some of the challenges were emotionally difficult, but looking back, I think it really helped get my healing moving in the right direction. I think this is the link to this year’s challenges if you want something to experiment with.

oh, I couldn’t agree more about TLP. It is where I call my digi home.

I love the community spirit of TLP: friendly, supportive, encouraging.

I love the monthly challenges, not to mention the MOC. I tend to play it safe with my scrapbooking pages, and maybe sometimes to get into a bit of a rut. The challenges have encouraged me to try new styles, to learn new techniques, to become a little more adventurous.

I love the fun events, with games and challenges and pick-your-prize (my fav!).

I love the gallery. So much inspiration; so much fun to share our pages and projects.

@elseepe, I am very sorry for your loss.

That is so lovely :beat

Definitely it's the community for me. Just so warm. So inviting. So welcoming.

I love how TLP is a close community. I also love that there is also something going on-games, chats, scraps and challenges. It is really wonderful.

I love that this a drama free zone. Everyone supports each other during good times and bad. No one feels left out, and everyone gets some love in the gallery - no matter what style you like to scrap. Along those lines, I love that pocket and hybrid scrappers are embraced here versus other places that don't consider them to be "real" scrappers. TLP is open to all of us!
