Adding banner to signature

How do I add a banner to my signature? Is it the same process of cutting the banner into 3 pieces, uploading it to photobucket then pasting it into my User CP? Also, which link do I use from Photobucket? Thanks so much!
 
You will need to cut it if you want to link different parts of the banner to different things. If you do not want to do that, you will not need to cut it.

If it is already online somewhere, you can use the address is already has. You click the button that looks like a tree in a box and paste the address there.

If it is not already online somewhere, you can use Photobucket to get it online. Use the BBCode.
