When ever I have something planned for the weekend one of my kiddos gets hurt last time it was gabbi when fin pulled her by the arm to rough and her elbow slipped this time it's fin I'll be taking him up a and e shortly as he fell off his scooter last night and either hurt his wrist or thumb,think I have my own bed up there waiting for us lol
 
and you live in the Middlands.... I imagine A&E is not as clogged as in Central London?
I used to be at the Royal Free's A& E every other day with my next door neighbour's boys....
not a nice way to spend your day/evening...

hope is nothing too much, Karen, and he gets well soon, and you have a calm weekend!!!!

we was only there an hour this time so pretty quick all xrayed and he has just badly sprained it,put a tubi grip bandage on and told him no sports for 3 weeks so we can still go to the seaside he will just have to build his sand castle with his left arm lol
 
i think they do yeah,she said do you know where xray is i said yep i was here a few weeks ago with my daughter

the minimum I have waited in A& E here was 4 and half hours LOL
lucky you can go to the sea side too...and kids are resilient, he will find the way to have fun :)
 
UGH!!! I'm so sorry that happened. A couple of years the same thing happened to us & both times it was the same son. One Saturday he was wrestling with my oldest & they slipped & he broke a plate when then sliced his finger deeply. Stitches. The following Saturday, he crashed on one of those rip stick skateboard things & his elbow swelled up a ton. I was so worried they were thinking he was abused. But all worked out. As a kid, I was an emergency regular. Clutsy & lots of stitches. ;0)
 
Glad it was only a sprain - we had to walk past our local a and e on the weekend ) - flu season here, it was overflowing with some very miserable looking people..not the best place to spend your time!
