OK, here's a laundry list, but I highly suggest you pick a few things to highlight instead of trying to do it all. It makes the pages much more manageable. :)

-Daily routines: what time you get up, eat, go to school/work, bed, etc
-Clothes: what's in fashion, what do you wear everyday
-Food: grocery shopping, what things cost, meals, favorite snacks
-Chores: what does it take to make your household run
-Work: commute, office space, co-workers, etc
-Kids: current fav toys, hobbies, personality at current age
-Media: what you're watching/listening to/reading (tv, music, internet)
-Weather
-Pets
-Rooms in your house: furniture, art, even the messes
-Hometown
-Activities: sports, clubs, teams, etc

Do we want to brainstorm photos for each of these items?

If you are in the coached group, go ahead and check in here and tell which 3 you are doing.

I need a coach group - how do we get in?

I'll start mine tomorrow though - we start the week on Mondays.

Is it 3 topics per day or for the whole week - sorry, I'm a bit dense;) I'm going to read Ali Edward's blog now I think.

If you post here, you're in the coaching group. LOL Nothing formal. :)

As far as topics, it's really whatever you want it to be, but Ali suggests tracking them throughout the week.

Yey! This is exciting! I'll have a think about what topics I'll do, and I'll be back for tomorrow. Definitely doing daily routines though.

I have been to she shoppe to pick up some goodies - so I'm all set:) Thank you so much for helping people like me with this - who knows, maybe I'll actually finish a project!

Yeah, I love you Laura for doing this! You are the bomb!

I have chosen these three:

Daily Routines, Food and Kids

this is cool! But I'm not going to join in at the moment. Have fun everyone!

You guys are very welcome. Even if there are just a few of us, I think it will keep us on track! I can't wait to see what you do. :beat

OK, I've been reading over at Ali's blog - There is So Much to read - my head hurts;)

So, do we make a page per day for each topic we decide on? We're kinda boring, so our routine is pretty much the same from monday to friday - give or take a few after-school activities or visits from friends. It seems a bit pointless to document this every day? Or am I missing the point completely? I haven't finsihed reading Ali's blog yet though - maybe it will all become clear.

What I'm thinking now is to do make a page each day where I just write what happened that day (like the story of today in Ali's album), then I will have Kids as one of my main topics that I will create a page from every day. Then I want to do a page on daily routines from the week, and one from the weekend. And then pick one additional topic each day to write about. Am I on the right track here?

The biggest thing here is that there is NO wrong way. It's your week and you should cover it however works for you. Don't stress or compare it to Ali's stuff, just go with the flow. All of these things are just a springboard for your creativity to help you get started! :photo

I don't think there is a set way to do this. If doing it that way will create a document that will reflect your life for that week and have meaning, than that is the way you should do it. (At least that's how I approach this.) Your plan sure sounds like a good one to me.

Great ideas Laura :) Today I'm doing our routine...what time we get up, packing lunches, signing folders (I spend a surprising amount of time doing this..lol) making breakfast and getting the boys out the door, then of course we have playtime, lunchtime, naptime, homework, dinner time, bath and bed..now that I think about it there is no way I'm going to fit our routine into one day. Hmmm......I'll have to work on how I'm going to lay it out. I did get some good shots of the some bookbags and lunchboxes this morning though :)

Although I am not taking part this time round I just wanted to step in here and say how much I am looking forward to seeing what you all create! This will be such a great project to look back on in a few years time, thanks for organising this and for the coaching Laura! :)

Thanks for this Laura sweetie!

I'll be doing daily routine, kids, and umm maybe media or food.

Thanks guys! This is so exciting - is it wrong that I am wanting this day to be over so I can scrap it;)?

so much fun :) i THINK i'm doing something like this ...

1) one page documenting what kids wore each day of the week (prob doing one page/kid)
2) one page documenting normal morning routine (we are pretty boring so do the same things all the time LOL)
3) one page documenting normal evening routine
4) one page documenting weekend activities
5) one page documenting favorite foods this week
6) one page documenting favorite toys this week

but i'm open to change once i actually start scrapping these photos LOL!

LOL @ Kristine...I'm excited to dig in as well.

I've already done my page on the tv part of the Media category, but it has some Tadpole Tuesday stuff on it, so I'll wait until tomorrow to share. :)

i'm with kate... gonna have to sit this one out, but i am REALLY looking forward to seeing what you all come up with!! if i were to scrap my week right now, it would look like this: work, clean house, try to buy house, try to sell house, work, clean, fall over dog-tired! the end. :giggle
