Hello eveyone !

The fact that my eldest son is in the middle of revising and that we’re fully immersed in university application forms has really taken me back.
And I feel the urge to listen to the music I used to listen to back then.

It makes me want to ask you what you were listening to 20 years ago.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with it, it's French songs

20 years ago, I was in my 40's... at that time I was still listening to Country Music, 1950's 1960s and 1970s music. I don't listen to much now but that is still all my go tos. :)

20 years ago, I was 25. I listened to a lot of pop music at the time. I didn't really buy many CDs, so it was basically whatever was on the radio! Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, Green Day, Coldplay, Rhianna, Destiny's Child...

20 years ago? I had 3 kids at home and my daughter was into Broadway show tunes, so that played a lot on the Sirius radio since they have genre specific stations. At home, it was mostly the songs from the youngest's TV shows (Nickelodeon mostly) that I heard! We often listened to the Disney channel on Sirius when we were in the mini van together.

Hmmm 20 years ago I was 40 so my kids were between 4-8. That means that we were listening to a lot of The Wiggles at my place :giggle

20 years ago... I was 40, had a teen, a preteen, and a 1 year old...so there was a real mix of things going on in my house. A couple of my favorites at that time were....

My daughter was 7 (and I was 42) and we listened to a lot of High School Musical songs as that movie came out in 2006, and also the Cheetah Girls songs from their movies. When it was just me listening to music I was likely listening to the same things I'm listening to now: 80s music, 70s singer/songwriters (Sting, James Taylor, Billy Joel, Elton John). With my husband and daughter -- country music. An all time fav from that year was Carrie Underwood "Jesus Take the Wheel".
. My favorite High School Musical song was Breaking Free:
