The Hunger Games just arrived at my local library. Is it good?? How do youy like it?? I´m really thinking of getting it, well, in fact I need to finish the other two I´m reading, DArkfever (which I´m LOVING it) and Game of Thrones!
I know some of you have read the Hunger Games and I really want your opinion about it before I stop by the library! :luvya

GET THEM!!! lol...that is really all I can say. It's a great series, and with all the hype surrounding the upcoming movie, I would say get them from the library while you can.

I've never heard about it... (I'm not much of a big reading person) so what's it about?
 
Definitely get them.

Brandi - the story is set in a society that has districts (provinces/states) that owe a debt to the central government because they had the nerve to revolt against the government decades ago to protest against poverty and hunger. Each district has to provide one female and one male child for a TV game show in which the kids fight each other to the death - last child standing wins.
 
I say get 'em didn't take me long to read the trilogy..love the Fever series too and I'm currently on the Game of Thrones series
 
yes, they were some of my favorite books from the last year. In fact, I kinda want to re-read them soon.
 
Thanks girlies! I should drop by the library first thing in the morning tomorrow!! I´ve heard you talking about The Hunger Games Series last year but they only got here in Brazil this month. I don´t know why they take so long to release a book over here! It might be because of the translation issue. I had to buy Darkfever on Ebay because you were talking so much about it that I couldn´t stand not having it! I was sure it would take forever to get translated to Portuguese!! OMG! :D
 
Yep, I'll chime in to get them too! They were so good and i read them all in a few days too.

Ok, as soon as I finish the 4th book from The Twilight Series :lmao I'll get this series.... It's only been a year since I started reading it. :duh
 
definitely get them Valeria. I really enjoyed reading them, so I uploaded them to my dh's Kindle and he loved them too!
