Is "Enablees" a word? If so, that's what I am. Easily enabled.

I read about Red River Paper on twitter, so of course, I ordered a photographer sample pack. Talk about ah-mazing. I looooove it. I've printed on two types, the linen and I believe the polar matte, and they are both gorgeous. Cannot wait to try more. As a side note, I used Valorie Wibben's Today Journal Cards on the paper and they're gorgeous!

I also bought some 6x12 protectors from amazon. One type has three 4x6 slots, and the other is just a 6x12 protector, which I've seen lots of ideas about from the PL Inspiration team on Becky's blog.

I also ordered these Flip Pockets Peel and Stick holders that I can't wait to use.

MUST.STOP.BUYING.PROJECT.LIFE.STUFF.

If it makes you feel better, I have ALL of that stuff already. Oy. LOL

If you like the Flip Pockets (assuming those are the cline ones), russell + olive has a mini version in 2.5 x 4, which look super cute layered over the 3 x 4 areas.

I've seen people talk about that type of paper. I'm printing my photos at the camera store near me that does chemical developing. Please sell me on not using Walmart card stock to print my journaling cards. What difference will the fancy paper make? Thanks so much!

Well, the linen is TO DIE FOR. The texture of it is just fabulous. For my printed journal cards that I print at home, I've been using the Epson Premium Matte Presentation Paper (I think that's the name of it), and I do like it.

Laura: Oh, you're a worse enabler than Shanna. I'm off to check out those Russell and Olive pockets.

Does the ink look different on the different kinds of papers? If the paper is in the plastics so you won't really feel it that often why not use whatever is cheapest? Why presentation pPer and not cheap walmart? Will some papers look good longer? I'm assuming any acid/lingin free paper is ok. Everyone seems to love that brand of paper though so I'm probably missing something. Lol. Don't you love how I want you to convince me I need this even though I don't know why!

Roni...I have the Walmart paper and the Epson presentation paper. There is a world of difference in the color that gets printed on them. Textured paper just looks different...not just the feel. Even if they're in plastic sleeves, you'll be able to see it. It's all a matter of preference though, but I know I won't use my Walmart paper for any of my journaling cards...just for little things that I might cut out. Anything that has a lot of color on it, I want to use my Epson paper!!

I will have to get some paper to do a little comparison. Thanks so much for the explanation!

I have the Red River sampler pack as well and have used the 66 lb Polar Pearl Metallic to print a collage of photos. It is amazing! I haven't tried any of the other papers in the pack yet though!

That paper is next on my list to try. Let me know what you think about the linen....it looks amazing when printed with journal cards, I think!

You girls are killing my pocket book! Between Christine's blog post for must have pens and the threads for project life - I am going to be broke!

I've heard of the Red River Paper - nice to hear a personal review.

I'm trying to decide between getting Red River Linen paper and Epson Presentation paper. The prices are comparable the main difference is the shipping for Red River. Can anyone compare these two? Thanks so much!

What type of Red River are you looking at? I prefer their linen to the Epson Premium Presentation, but the Epson is nice too.

I was thinking of trying the linen red river. I wish I could find a free shipping coupon code but I can't. Oh, we'll. I will probably try to any way. Now that I have my page protectors I have to get moving on my journaling cards. If I get my taxes back tomorrow like I should I can also get new ink! Yay!

I'd get the linen, then. It's fabulous.
