Thanks to everyone for your prayers, good thoughts and messages-
Please keep is in your prayers still, we are slowly getting there, but yesterday 5 (FIVE!!!!!) hours at the hospital just to change her dressing- today when they saw what is going on (not healing properly and keeps bleeding non stop- they finally agreed with me and we will be seeing a doctor tomorrow who will take us to the surgical team to book a date for the operation-

I was so upset over the past week, as, you know, she is 19 and determined to make all the "teenage thing" before she turns 20 in February LOL) she had a good excuse not to clean or tidy up....but what I found in her bedroom and living room ....lets say wasn't nice, so much that I don't think I will ever make that LO!!!! I took photos, but growing mold of a month, green & white to half the cups isn't nice to have in pages !!!!! :groan

so, all together, I shout, she shouts, then she goes cleans it all (only after I had to have propanolols to avoid my heart to speed up and leave me behind) and we are hugging and kissing and laughing...or, like today, crying in pain and moaning- ,y right arm is giving me a hard time but I thi9nk is because I need sleep....I haven't had any last night . I can see my post covered in red, so am gonna spell check and then leave you and rest a bit, thanks once again for joining us in prayers or thoughts....
I think is they agree on the procedure I want her to have , then all will be good huge huge huggzz and thanks for being so supportive!!!!!!

Thanks for the update. I'll be praying tomorrow. Teenagers aren't fun sometimes. Keep in touch.

Bless your heart! Oh those teenage years!! They do grow up eventually though :) My 20 year old is now living in her own house and she is getting there. When I go visit, I have to fight the urge to clean, but she does much better than when she was at home. Thank God, the 24 year old has a wife haha, but he has turned in to a pretty good housekeeper himself.

Thoughts and prayers and I hope they are able to get her back on the road to total healing very soon!!

I certainly know what you're saying about her room, my daughter was the same way. I finally just closed the door and forgot that room existed. Once she got married and got her own home, I thought she had finally grown up in that regard because the house would always looks beautiful when I came down to visit. Then I moved in to help them with the kids and realized that nothing had really changed and now I'm doing the same thing. I just pretend that room doesn't exist! I know I do plenty of things that drive her bonkers too, so it is what it is and it's not the stuff that matters in the long haul.

I'm so happy you finally got someone to pay attention!

glad to hear that Sarita is finally being looked at the way you want, hopefully they get it fixed fast.

As I stated to you earlier today, I just close Braeden's door and when he is gone to school I will be in his room dusting vacuuming, Febreezing and whatever else needs doing to make a teenage boy's room smell much better (sports equipment, sweaty socks) than it does presently :)

Sending lots of hugs to you and your daughter, Cynthia. I hope everything goes well.

Thinking of you both! Hugs, Cynthia!

As a teenager, I always had partially empty soda cans around my room. At 38, I've definitely outgrown that. Keep the faith my dear. All my love.

Thinking of you and praying for you both! Sorry I haven't been in touch lately. But you have definitely been in my thoughts.

thanks SO much girls!!!!!
and yes, the advice in general seems to be that of "close the door and forget about " thing :giggle

which I think I ll follow-

She went to see the surgical team today- I couldn't as my right arm still isn't ok to drive- so she called me on her cell when she was seen and the surgeon talked to me on the phone- He confirmed what I said: that they emptied the pilonidal channel, but they didn't remove the core- so off we go now with a new referral for an operation date-

My arm is getting better too.. :) thanks so much for all your support!!!I have been trying to catch up in the galleries...will get to everyone , I promise!!!!!

Sending both you and Sarita big, squeezy, healing hugs. Sounds like things are getting on track with a new surgery date set so relax and ignore the messy room as best you can xx

Sending prayers, healing and strength to both of you Cyn! (*Hugs*)
