well i have a 3d scan booked for friday because as my husband put it im bloody inpatient ha ha,and i really wanna know wether i have a little girl or boy

anyway ive decided i love the name Lola for a girl but everytime i hear that name the song "Her name was lola, she was a showgirl
With yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there
She would merengue and do the cha-cha" springs into my head and i cant get it out so not such a good idea hey lol
 
It's better than thinking of the song Lola by the kinks!

i like the name lola.... but i know what you mean about how certain names just evoke some memory or connotation that you can't get past.

let us know how the scan goes! we're all dying to know, too!
 
oooh so exited about the scan... share with us when you did it ;)

i really love the name Lola and I think when you have your little girl and you`ll really call her like that you`ll forget about all the stupid songs LooL

i will probably have a boy anyway just have a feeling im gonna create my own football team and my husbnad wont let me have Lola,infact everything i have suggested he has said no to think i need to kick his butt,yep ill come straight back here and tell you how i got on
 
so exciting Karen!! and Lola is so cute, almost as cute as my Lulu :)
 
OOOOOH I am so excited for you!!!!!! I have my first ultrasound on friday too!! Although I wont get to find out booo LOL And I really like the name Lola!!! hmmmmm.... LOL
 
oooh the first scan is nice cause all seems real then,do you not find out at ya next scan katrina,i really shouldnt find out till my 20 week scan which is 1st september but im so inpatient and am aying for this 4d scan
