1. believe it or not, i used to be 1st chair in trombone. yes, trombone. lol. i was so small though that i had to put my foot in the slide to reach 7th position... was always getting in trouble for that by my instructor. i'm pretty sure i can't even read music any more. :(
2. i was a total GEEK, so i pretty much liked everything. i loved math. science. writing. i did not care so much for social studies & history. yawn.
3. take them? take them where? i like them with NO MAYO however they are taken... no mayo is my #1 sandwich criteria.
4. Consumed by Jesus Culture.
5. Ski - but only on water. I've never been snow skiing.

1. Do you or have you ever been able to play an instrument? I took piano for 13 years through school and actually sat down for the first time in months last week and played for a couple of hours--it was like therapy!
2. What was your favorite subject in school?hands down, it was English--grammar, not literature so much!
3. How do you take your sandwiches?a little bit of mayo
4. Favorite (complete) album today?I'm at a loss on this one, haven't been listening to much music lately
5. Surf or Ski? um...neither, I would most definitely hurt myself doing either one!
 
1. Do you or have you ever been able to play an instrument? Yes, I can play the flute, clarinet and saxophone. I actually got a ton of music awards for the flute and was offered a full ride to college for it. I turned it down for another scholarship though.
2. What was your favorite subject in school? math
3. How do you take your sandwiches? with mustard, no mayo
4. Favorite (complete) album today? Ke$ha, yes I'm one of those people lol -- really I only listen to Pandora lately though
5. Surf or Ski? Ski.. have no clue how to surf
 
1. Do you or have you ever been able to play an instrument? No, not even the kazoo.
2. What was your favorite subject in school? Civics, western Civilizations, both taught by my dad's stepsister who I thought was awful until she became my teacher and I discovered that I love her terribly
3. How do you take your sandwiches? Mustard, cheese & tomato.
4. Favorite (complete) album today? I just listed to "God Loves Ugly" by Christa Black, and it is beautiful.
5. Surf or Ski? They are both too much work for me to enjoy, but I'd choose surfing over skiing because of my preference for hot over cold.

I was actually in a band! hee hee, I played bass in a Christian Country/Rock Band and I played congas/Tambourine in a SKA reggae band.
2. What was your favorite subject in school? Math and Journalism
3. How do you take your sandwiches? without bread (yeah, carbs are my enemy)
4. Favorite (complete) album today? complete? do they make those? I listened to my kids music, til I can't take it anymore
5. Surf or Ski? surf, and it is by no means hot, the ocean is freezing! But nothing like slamming your body into sand! ha ha ha

1. Do you or have you ever been able to play an instrument? I can play piano but it's been quite a long time! I'd love to get back into it, I'm intending on getting an electric one once my littlest is past the bashing stage. May be some time :)
2. What was your favorite subject in school? Probably Geography, but I liked most subjects.
3. How do you take your sandwiches? Since having to go gluten-free I try to avoid them! GF bread is yucky. I quite like the 'no-carb burger' which is just wrapped in lettuce leaves.
4. Favorite (complete) album today? Complete? Lol!
5. Surf or Ski?[/QUOTE] Neither. I tried to learn snowboarding a while back but couldn't even stand up. I've done a little windsurfing but I'm not good at that either. I'm more of a spectator in those sort of sports as my dh is very into anything adrenalin soaked like that.

oooh hard one! I just snagged Agnes Oebel, one republic's newer one (not as good as dreaming out loud) and Mumford and Sons
5. Surf or Ski?
neither..I would much rather sun bathe in the sand
 
1. Do you or have you ever been able to play an instrument? At primary school I played the violin (hideously badly) and the great bass recorder - I think because I was the only one tall enough to hold it properly :giggle
2. What was your favorite subject in school? Art. Duh. I also loved history and biology.
3. How do you take your sandwiches? Definitely NO mayo. Ugh!
4. Favorite (complete) album today? Strike by the Baseballs
5. Surf or Ski? I have never done either and suspect I would be really really bad at both! I am challenged in the balance department!

Yep! I played the piano and trumpet as a child, but so much anymore.

Really didn't have a fav, but I sure liked study halls and sports! LOL!

Preferrably toasted, although a cold chicken or tuna is yummy.

I have too many favs to choose...

5. Surf or Ski?
Definately surf, because I'm a luver of the beach and water.
 
1. Do you or have you ever been able to play an instrument? In junior high, I played the clarinet but for only 1 year.

2. What was your favorite subject in school? My favorite classes were the business classes in high school.

3. How do you take your sandwiches? Mustand, no mayo!

4. Favorite (complete) album today? All my music is on my iPhone and some songs I don't like, don't make it so I can't think of an entire 'album'.

5. Surf or Ski? My fat *&#?!?!?! Hahahaa! I'd take surf because I love the beach!

2. What was your favorite subject in school? Chemistry, Journalism, MacroEconomics and Intermediate Finance (OK, I know...but those were my favs! :D )

I know...I know...it's Friday, but I LOVE reading these and learning more about you guys and love filling them out! Here goes nothing!

I played the flute in band in middle school

first of all - you are all a smart bunch of ladies! I didn't like any subject except maybe computer class. So glad school is over for me, but daunted by the fact that I will have to relive it all thru my girls. :(

ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayo on wheat

Any one of the Casting Crowns CD's or Selah
5. Surf or Ski?
I have ski'd before, but don't care much for snow (even though I live in it a good 3 months out of the year), would love to try surfing some day!
 
I'm late too..but I agree with Amanda..these are so fun to read so I thought I would chime in :)

1. Do you or have you ever been able to play an instrument?
piano, but was never very good and clarinet for a few years in the middle school band
2. What was your favorite subject in school? English for sure, and lunch that was my social time :)
3. How do you take your sandwiches?
Pickles, mustard, wheat bread...I'm pretty much an exclusive turkey sandwich girl
4. Favorite (complete) album today? I've been listening to a live itunes collection of keane and I always love some old school Dave Matthews. I love music though we always have Pandora or someone's ipod on in the house
5. Surf or Ski? Well..even though I've live by the beach I have never surfed and I doubt I would be good at it. I can ski but haven't gone in years :(

3. How do you take your sandwiches? i hate sandwiches on white bread and wheat bread. it sticks to your teeth so with that i only eat my sandwiches on some kind of hard rolls. NO MAYO. GAH. and i like oven roasted turkety breast not the icky processed ones
4. Favorite (complete) album today? hmmm i just listen to my Pod but if i had to say complete album totally go with Licensed to Ill by the Beastie Boys.
