Directions for the May 1st Speed Scrap:
1. YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE PICTURE. YOU CAN FOCUS ON TWO DIFFERENT PARTS OR REPEAT IT OR WHATEVER... BUT IT CAN ONLY BE ONE. AND BLACK AND WHITE.
2. THINK MUSICALLY. PICK A FAVORITE SONG AND THEN ADD LYRICS FROM IT - PROMINENTLY - ON YOUR PAGE.
3. COMPLIMENT. USE MUST USE COMPLIMENTARY COLORS ONLY ON YOUR PAPERS.
4. GET LACEY WITH IT. ADD AT LEAST THREE PIECES OF LACE TO YOUR PAGE.
5. FOLIAGE. ADD SOME.
6. ADD THE REST OF YOUR STUFF AND CALL IT A NIGHT.

Pages need to be in the Speed Scrap gallery and linked in this post by 10:45 CST.

ps banking on brown and teal being complimentary. Seems that a bunch of people think they are.

My image is linked. I found lace after I had this done so stuck it under the photo since I like the other lace better.
Off to put credits to my layout. I had to pull pieces for a lot of kits. Hope I can find them again.
Thanks so much for hosting the Speed Scrap. I actually like my layout. :)

Ok, I know I missed the deadline by a mile, but I still want to share since I had it finished on time, but we had horrendous storms last night, and my internet went down sometime at the end or right after the chat and just came back up.

 
Such great pages, ladies. I am so bummed to have missed it. I got an awful cold/flu and wasn't feeling well, and then I looked up at the clock and realized I had totally missed it... which made me feel even worse. Bah.

Love what you guys did. I might just have to try it later.

Good to see you back speed scrapping, Trish. :D
