Now that the Xochi Olympics have started, do you have any specific event you are watching?

This is a tough one for us.

We watched tonight the Women's hockey (USA vs FIN).
We have in our list to watch speed skating and figure skating too. Freestyle and group skating. What can I say we are kind of in love with the winter olympics. Bianca has a new interest in snowboarding, so we might watch some of those too.

As I am originally from the Netherlands I would have to say speed skating! It's huge over there! And they won the 1, 2 and 3 spots in the 5,000 meters today too woot!! :woot :yesss

I watch most all of it, my TV is never on as much as it is when the Olympics are airing. Snowboarding is my absolute favorite, but I like the skiing events, too. I'll watch whatever is airing really with the exception of hockey. I don't know anything about hockey.

Love ski jumping and luge. Those people are crazy. Think I want to try it. Ha!

I heard that we have won our first ever medal on the snow for Team GB! kinda great to hear even though I've not took anytime to watch! I might try to catch some of the figure skating, it's something I've always enjoyed seeing xx

I love all the figure skating, of course. But we like snowboarding & the ski jumping. But we don't have cable anymore so I have to wait around for NBC to show anything on TV & I seem to be missing most of it all. BLAH!

My tv is on all day during the Olympics and my computer has results on it all day long at work if I want to look at them. I watch pretty much everything! I don't know anything about hockey so don't tend to watch the entire game. Love figure skating and snowboarding events. Hate to see anyone fall.

I haven't turned it on yet. I have been catching up on Hulu all weekend when I was watching TV. I usually like to watch the figure skating events. I think the stories I'm reading about the conditions at Sochi have me bummed and not in the mood to watch.

This is us--we watch it all. But, for the first time in several years, we are without DVR/cable and so I am relying on good ol' NBC to give my fix. And of course, trying to stay off any news sites so that I don't see spoilers--I don't like knowing ahead of time!!

My favorite is always figure skating, but the slope style snowboarding is crazy awesome!! and I am totally loving the team figure skating competition.

THEY WERE ON FIRE!!!! We watch them!!!!!! (We need to re-watch because Bianca fell asleep). We are thinking of getting Bianca into speed skating... I KNOW, WE ARE CRAZY!

Whatever happens to be on late at night when I am finally falling into bed :).

I was telling hubby, that I want to do that! LOL!!!!!

What event? First time ever? That is going to make that person GB's new hero!

Agree, I don't think they were ready, but I guess people have to do the best they can with what they have. I wouldn't be happy to have no toilet or water.

OMG. We had a blast watching USA vs. FIN. We need to learn more about hockey since Bianca is asking to be on a league next year. I have to say that we love it, the adrenaline, the constant movement, the intensity.... WE LOVE IT! I started the recorded game last night and hubby said "I am not watching a 90 minute game"... of course we did! That last period was AWESOME!!!!!!

I have to say that I am impressed with Comcast, they have a section on their ON-DEMAND that allows you to see at least all the finals for each event.

Snowboarding, I just saw that it was the first medal at the Winter Olympics for GB on snow! I'm pretty sure we have own medals before at the Winter Olympics I'm presuming when Torvil & Dean won gold in the 80's (skating) that it must of been a Winter Olympics. But yeas our first on snow xx

I watched the Opening Ceremonies, and then I saw some figure skating and the slope style snowboarding (that was awesome!). I watched skiing last night. I was hoping to have it on this afternoon but my kids are not cooperating!

We're watching quite a bit of it, pretty much anything that's on. The kids are pretty interested in it. Ella's bummed out that gymnastics aren't in the Winter Olympics, but she is super intrigued by the snowboarding and figure skating.

We pretty much watch all of it, but my favorite things are probably the snow boarding events, figure skating, and short track speed skating. It's all pretty amazing!

I've literally only sat down on the couch once all weekend, and it was last night, so I watched a bit of snowboarding, some figure skating and the mens downhill skiing. Nothing terribly exciting happened in any of those.

We don't typically watch anything specific. But I do turn it on for background when I'm doing other things. Caught some of the figure skating yesterday, and completely fell in love with the Russian girl who skated to schindlers list in the red coat. Absolutely stunning!
