Are you done with your shopping?

I'm about half-way through, but we don't even have our tree up! I'm hoping to get that done tonight.

What's the status of your Christmas activities??

I'm almost done shopping but I think that every year and something or someone always comes up. Our house is somewhat decorated, tree is up, some decos no gifts wrapped yet...but we'll do that in one fell swoop. Things are so crazy and hectic, I'm actually surprised that we've gotten so much done :)

Planning for Christmas has been eclipsed this year by planning for the social event of the decade - DD's 6th birthday party! It's this weekend so once that is out of the way I can start thinking about Christmas!

We do have the tree up though :tree

    Let's see...

Shopping - almost all done, need to pick up a couple gift certificates and then buy some more things for DH. But first I need to figure out what to get him.

Baking - still wrestling with myself about how many kinds to make. I end up being about the only one eating them unless I give them away. So I should just skip them all. :rollingpin But thats not going to happen. I just need to do more of this... :run

There are a few more presents to wrap.

But wow, I am futher ahead of things than I thought. Woo Hoo!! Not time to sit back and enjoy the season.

My shopping is almost done. I've done the majority of it online this year because I just hate fighting the crowds. I'm planning to finish up today with a bit of IRL shopping. The decorating is also mostly done. I wanted to do all my banisters this year, but I couldn't find any garland I love so they are still naked. LOL Other than wrapping, I'm in good shape. I won't start baking until my girls are done with school because they love to help. My big failing this year is that we were too sick to get our Christmas pics done, so there's no card yet. I'm *this* close to not doing one, but I feel guilty about it...

Let's see.... shopping was completed in early November, the house is decorated, I'm waiting on my Christmas cards to arrive so I can send them out,and crafts are ready to go for DS's first grade party. I have not however... taken the kids to see Santa, done the Tacky Light Tour with the fam, made our Gingerbread house, or wrapped presents. My sister is getting married this Sunday and I feel like my life has been put on hold until the wedding is over. Oh... and did I mention my house is for sale so I am finding myself having to leave for an hour and a half each time someone schedules and appt? Yeah, good times!

ARGH!!!! I'm so far behind! :helpy :groan

We got the tree in the house yesterday, but it's not decorated yet. DH got the boxes of decorations down from the attic yesterday, so I can start decorating. I'm almost done with my shopping. I've got a couple things to buy for DH...but we are DONE with everything for the boys. I'll be baking th week of Christmas, since I'll be home from work that week. I need to rearrange my craft room so my brother can sleep there when he comes for Christmas. And, since the 'Rents are coming as well, I need to get the house in shape for 3 additional adults. :groan

Our tree is up, the house is almost decorated. I'm almost done with the shopping - most of it was done online and sent to family directly. The presents the kids have bought are wrapped and under the tree - just 8 of them or so. I still have to finish our cards and get calendars done. I skipped doing the calendar last year and didn't hear the end of it from our families.

DH's birthday is this weekend and DS is having his birthday party next weekend so I'm a bit overwhelmed with all of that. And my best friend's baby has been very sick and is fighting for his life - that is trumping all right now. Can't think about Christmas too much.

I thought I was doing so well because I'm finished with the kids, nieces, nephews, etc. but just made up my list tonight for teachers, co-workers, and discovered I'm not as ahead of the game as I thought!
