hey everyone! here are the instructions for the 10/4 Speed Scrap - beginning at 1 pm EST :) NOTE: you can have ONE CHEAT - but you have to let me know what it is :)

i'll be updating this post every 10 minutes with a new instruction :)

1) START WITH TWO PHOTOS - AND CROP THEM INTO CIRCLES AND PLACE ONTO A SOLID BACKGROUND (YOU CAN USE A NEUTRAL/SUBTLE PATTERN EG. WOOD GRAIN)

2) USING PATTERNED PAPER, CREATE CIRCLE SHAPES (AS MANY AS YOU WANT AND ALL DIFFERENT SIZES) AND ADD TO PAGE. YOU CAN ALSO CUT OUT CIRCLE SHAPES AND HAVE PATTERNED PAPER PEEKING OUT FROM UNDERNEATH.

3) ADD SOME STITCHING AND PAINT TO THE PAGE

4) ADD SOME ELEMENTS - AS MANY AS YOU WANT - BUT YOU MUST INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE BUTTON

5) ADD A TITLE - USE AT LEAST TWO DIFFERENT ALPHAS

6) ADD SOME JOURNALING :)

you have until 3 PM EST to complete you LO and post it in the gallery and in this thread! can't wait to see what you come up with :)

Here's mine...I didn't even use any cheats (unless we count the whole blue background thing).

I think my Kraft paper at the bottom may have been my one cheat.
 
Yeah I had high hopes of getting a page done by the cut-off (saw this with an hour to spare) but yeah... attempting to scrap with quickness while battling the boys on homework just didn't work too well. lol I do have the page half done though.

Or not. lol I think my time zone conversion is off on my head.

I am so sad I missed it!! Today was a horrible day! The little one is cutting teeth, we had story time and speech that took all morning....I was ready to lose my mind by noon!!! LOL
 
such great pages ladies!! thanks so much for joining in :) i'll get your prizes out to you as soon as i get it :) and sorry you other ladies couldn't make it - but you should still try to finish a page :)

I love it, I'd have never thought to do circles on it on my own. My cheat was changing 2 photos to 4.
