cure

It was a long day today. Some emotional journaling art. I want a cure
Description
A Cure

I realized today that I have been doing this for over 30 years. Managing...discovering new treatments, trying to make a life of it all and I don't want to 'manage' it, experiment continually researching it and looking around the next corner. I want a cure. I don't want depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, RLS...go down the list. Please a cure. I want to know what that feels like.

That sounds like a hard realization, so tough for you. Thanks for being vulnerable...maybe it will help someone else not feel alone in their chronic illness. That heavily textured, jagged background seems most appropriate for the intensity of the day.

A very emotional page - although it doesn't take away the unease, a bit of art journaling, like you did, helps to let some of it out. I hope you will find a cure.

This page is bittersweet and so emotional, I am glad you created this stunningly beautiful and hard truths about your life page. Let it out. Have you ever read any books by Jenny Lawson? I highly recommend her books. Her newest book is called "How to be Okay When Nothing is Okay" I'm part way through, it could be a very fast read but I'm taking it slowly and letting it all sink in. She's also hilarious: https://thebloggess.com/
You are not alone.

I used to read her blog every day. Can't remember why I stopped. I have read and own her first book which was hysterical. I tried to read her second book and could not get through it. I will look into her newest book. Also, thank you for the comments.

This page really stands out. Your color choice really matches your theme I think, all the black for your emotions, struggles, and the bright red that also seems to give a little hope.
Big hug!
