Love how that red fabric scrap beams to your focus on the lifeguards/boat. Would east coasters be surprised to learn we don't have lifeguards on the public beaches in Oregon? Maybe it's because it's too cold for massive amounts of people to be swimming in our ocean! But people do, and people get surprised by sneaker waves all the time.
I think it's swimmable as do other East coast northerners but my husband who grew up on the Gulf of Mexico thinks it's way to cold. I've been in already this year in June
