Journaling: We are so lucky to live here in Barrington, Rhode Island right on the Narragansett Bay. Allin’s Cove is one of my favorite places to walk. It is a cove off the Bay and Barrington surrounds it. I like to walk in Bay Spring where you can walk down to the edge of the water at low tide, and I like to walk on the other side of the cove in the Alfred Drown neighborhood where there is a little beach on the cove with a bench where you can sit and contemplate. At low tide you can walk across the cove as long as you don’t mind getting your feet a bit wet.

i didn't think of that. I started with a template from Lynn G. for panoramic photos and then ended up getting rid of almost everything except the torn paper and the main photo spot. Then I duplicated the torn paper because I wanted it at the bottom too.
Sounds like an amazing place to walk Beth! Love the photo and the journaling, great storytelling. And the design is wonderful with the wider format photo and the columns of title/journaling and the masked paper and the photo of the sign. Fantastic!
I can see why you feel lucky to live there. The photo is so peaceful and beautiful. I grew up on the bay on an opposite coast (pacific northwest) and am hoping to retire on the water. Fingers crossed. Your layout evokes peace, quiet, and beauty.
Beth! I don't live very far away from here. I've never heard of this cove and it looks so absolutely beautiful in your photo. Your patterned details add such a nice accent to it.
