It was a wonderful time! I can't wait to wear my candy cane sweater at least three times next week! LOL

I love all the fun and festive tables! It's so fun to get together with other ladies and make things pretty and just talk, eat and get to know each other better! It looks like you had a great time!

Amazing and festive tables! You all went all out for the decorations. So fun for your event. I really like the mix of date elements that you used for the page and the shadows are so realistic (I could reach out and touch that ribbon bow!).

You go girl! You are the hostess with the mostest! Love your Christmas brunch, but especially the photos of you with that gorgeous festive spread! I know who I am calling when I have an event to host! AMazing photos and great collage too.. Beautiful page my friend!

I kept telling people I didn't know what I had gotten myself into, because at other churches, there would be a decorating team and then someone would be the hostess at each table. I thought I would just be greeting people and making sure they got their quiche. Oh, no! I had to decorate the table, too! Decorating is way outside my wheelhouse, mostly because I don't want to disappoint anyone--some organizers have high expectations! There are people who are so gifted in that area, so I'd rather leave them to it. But it came together pretty fast and that felt like grace. The compliments were very nice, so I assume it worked. My problem was I literally had nothing to use. I don't even own a set of plates or silverware anymore! I went to a thrift store to get some plates, the Dollar Store for chargers, trays and silverware, Target for some ornaments and Amazon for the tablecloth, carafes and coffee cups. YouTube taught me how to fold a napkin. It was a community effort...LOL!

You are amazing! I know what you mean. I have hosted 2 HS reunions plus other events.. never easy but oh so satisfying after it us over!!! Just sit on your hands next time so you don't get volunteered lol.. that is what i do! Hugs!!
