The US National Park Service is huge! It includes National Parks, Recreation Areas, Monuments, Historic Sites, Battlefields, Lakeshores, Seashores, Scenic Trails and more - a total of 29 different categories for all 50 states and the territories of Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa. There were 14 available sites in Colorado. One we had been to on a previous trip. We went to 10 of the rest over our two week vacation.

Okay that is a great story!!! I too would feel guilty about getting a stamp for something we hadn't seen. As a fellow NPS enthusiast, I absolutely adore your page!!
