Speaking of reality TV

I don't really watch it, but I heard that this is Simon's last season. Will you still watch after he is gone? Will it be the same?
 
I watch AI - but only after the top 20 are picked :)

I don't think I'll watch once Simon is gone. I already don't like that Kara and I'm not sure how Ellen will be.
 
I am so excited to watch it, I love Ellen and I think she will really bring some funny stuff to the show. But I am so bummed Simon is leaving, I am not sure how the show will do without him.
 
I think AI will go downhill fast without Simon. As cruel as he can be, most of the time he's dead-on right. :lol
 
I don't watch it either, but they don't have simon anymore?? yeah it might go downhill without him.
 
I'm excited! I think they should consider ending the show after this season and replacing it with Simon's new show (which did you hear, Paula might be a judge?)
 
Oh is it on tonight? I used to watch it. Let's see if i get any free time tonight.
 
I have watched it for the past couple years but I think I am going to skip it this year. I have doing very well with watching less tv, so the last thing I need to do is get involved in AI which is on 2 nights a week. I don't think the show will be the same without Simon, unless they can find a good substitute.
 
We usually end up watching it, but I do think it is going to go downhill after Simon leaves. I am not a fan of Kara either....I am sure that Ellen will be entertaining, but does she have experience in music...or is she mostly entertainment aspect? and maybe I am just clueless about her music career! LOL
 
Last year was the first time I ever watched it! And they were at the final eight, or something like that. I'll probably get into it again when they start narrowing down the contestants.
 
I used to be anti-AI, but then I was sucked in. So I'll watch. I think Simon, in all his salty glory, is the key so I too suspect that it will become enormously less interesting to watch after he leaves.

I used to HATE the audition shows...but now I think they are pretty funny. Plus I like to watch the ones that get through and predict who is going to the end. I totally had Adam pegged as a finalist but didn't catch Kris Allen at all. I think they creatively edit who they show and who they hold back.
 
I'll definitely watch, although I hate the auditions. Not sure how AI will be without Simon next year!

LOL Tiki - I only watch UNTIL the top 20 are picked. HAHAHA. I just like watching people make fools of themselves, really.
 
I didn't know it started again this week! I'll have to search the internet when I get home to see if I can find it - I'm hoping it will be good with Ellen on it, I like her! I don't think I would watch it next season (if there is one) without Simon though, I think he kind of makes the show.

I think it's good that he is doing the x-factor in the US though, I have seen the british and Norwegian ones, and I prefer that to Idol anyway - I love that the judges are competing with eachother as well as being judges!
