I don't know about you, but I get earworms a lot! Especially around holiday times. Except my earworms are always only part of the song, and never enough to remember the title!

The other day I was trying to remember the song on a Christmas album my mom played. I could remember Percy, the Puny Poinsettia. And I finally found the one I forgot! It was "The Littlest Snowman (with the Red Candy Heart)". Last week, my husband happened to play a song for me and darned if it wasn't the song I couldn't figure out for all of October and November! And no, now I can't remember which song it was, so I'll have to ask him again.

Luckily, I can typically get rid of earworms by playing the whole song through.

How about you? Do you get earworms? Does it drive you nuts?

*Earworm: Also Known As Stuck Song Syndrome, or Sticky Music.

:) I loved Percy :) there is also I wanna Hippopotomus for Christmas.. LOL

I always get songs stuck in my head. It doesn't bug me though. I just mumble through them, singing in my head, until they go away or I get a chance to play the song.

My stuck in the head songs lately have all been by one group... Home Free. I either watch their YouTube videos or listen to their music on a daily basis. Some of the ones that get stuck in my head are "Ring of Fire", "MayDay" and "Hillbilly Bone". The Christmas stuck in my head is "Do You Hear What I Hear". Unfortunately they get stuck in my head when I wake up in the middle of the night!

ugh...it's usually some obnoxious song that the girls have played!! Let me share one of their favorite!

You're Welcome!

Have you seen the earworm episode of big bang theory? so good but I hum that tune for days. Same with Thor and Dr. Jones.

Right now one from my daughter's school program is stuck in my head - piñata. "you know you gotta... get a piñata..hang it up, knock it down" and so forth. :)
