Digital Pin Exchange - NOVEMBER Edition!

I was just playing around to see what I could get with opacity lowered. I used one of the hard enamel styles on a white fill (with transparency set to like 48%). It was one of the styles that was meant for the metal rim, the one that was labeled: Hard Enamel -Metal Rim I Thicker. It just kept the transparency better than the actual styles intended for the enamel parts.

I have been holding off on getting the builder but now with the super sale going on I can't resist any longer. I went all out and bought all three sets and can't wait to play around this weekend. I watched the video, but I really appreciate you writing up a manual. Hopefully I will get something presentable done by the deadline.

Rikki,
I made my own video, but had trouble uploading it to youtube when I made it and completely forgot with the hockey schedule banging on my head. Let me try again!
 
@Dalis Looking forward to it. There are so many possibilities, especially with the two add-on packs, so I'll be curious to see how you do it.

I think I just used the main kit on my video, but I use the same steps to use the other add-ons. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the iridescent one!

You mean the white body of the snow man? It's just the regular enamel large one. I think it looks like the hard ones because the body is such a large surface - maybe. Also I hadn't figured out how large to make the pins to begin with, so maybe my original size was too big and that is why he turned out that way.

What size do you all start making them? Right around 2 inches or do you size them down later - and if so, from what size originally?

Ok, so I learned the other day that when you download from vecteezy instead of downloading as PNG I download as SVG. They will come in 300ppi vs 96ppi, plus then you can modify the size and it doesn't loose any details. I download mine and immediately change the size to anything between 1.5in-2in.

I saw that in your video about the svg files. I used Vecteezy for the first time today, God, that is super awesome. They way you can edit is really good. I made two more pins from two illustrations I just took from a complete winter scene. So easy!!
