How to create a slide show?

I need to create a short slide show that is independent from any program, something that I can pass along to other family members so they can view it on their computers. The only one I know how to use is on my Forever Historian program, but you need the program to run/view it.

Is there any way to do this on a PC? I'm so clueless when it comes to these things!

I never thought of that, but I need to be able to put it onto a file-sharing site and/or a disc for other family members. I'll check into it, though.

I had to do a slide show for our school's 8th grade graduation in May and I couldn't find something simple and easy to use, so I ended up putting all the pictures onto my iPad from Dropbox and used an app called Videoshop that my son uses for all his video editting. It was really easy and then I could save it when I was done and put it back on Dropbox to use for the event and to share.

Another option is to make it as a Powerpoint presentation then save it as a movie file.
